"Celestia sweet Celestia," Discord the dark lord of the sith "You have done well now once more the sith shall rule the galaxy and we shall have peace."
"I pledge myself to your teachings just help me save luna." celestia said submitting herself in front of the very thing she sought to destroy.
"Good good," Discord chuckled "Henceforth you'll shall be known as... Solar eclipse."
"Thank you my master." Solar said kneeling.
"Your first task is to go to the jedi temple in ponyville and kill any jedi that remain." Discord said in an evil tone not even the devil himself could muster.
With that solar left the throne room leaving discord to his own domain of insanity and chaos. He clicked his fingers and a hologram of a royal clone trooper came into view.
All was calm in the crystal empire Grand Master Kaiber Crystal was meditating until he felt. It. The pain, suffering and loss of life. It hurt from his horn to his wings an pain like no other. An royal medic ran in to try and get to the cause of the problem but he was followed by a commander nodding as if he received an order but Kaiber ignited his saber and sliced their heads clean off and ran towards the station.
*meanwhile in ponyville*
Solar eclipse had just arrived at the temple with her private squadron of clones the 501st and was wasn't wasting anytime. A force big enough to take out a planet the size of Jupiter was marching into the temple.
*Ten minutes later*
Death, destruction and blood was what was left of the Jedi that remained inside the temple all except the youngling which Solar dealt with personally.
*The youngling chambers*
"Scootaloo what's going on out there?"
"I don't know applebloom but if clones where called here it should be alright as long as we stay here." said an optimistic scootaloo.
As she finished her her sentence the door opened.
"Master celestia what's going on?" a filly know as sweetie belle asked.
"There has been a rebellion against the republic by master Lauren faust herself I witnessed her attempt to kill Chancellor discord." Solar replied scaring the younglings.
"No way," Applebloom exclaimed "Your lying master Lauren wouldn't commit treason unless... Discord is a sith lord!"
At this Solar eclipse chuckled and ignited her llightsaber and killed anything that moved in the room with little resistance.
Kaiber Crystal was running as fast as his hooves could take him but before he reached his destination a squad of Clones attacked him. On instinct he shot up into the air at rainbow dash speed and flew towards the everfree forest.
*Meanwhile discord's throne room*
"Ah my apprentice has done well," emperor discord said sensing the Jedi power damping dramatically in a rate that in the next hour or so there will be no jedi left in equestria or the anywhere else.
"Master, I've returned from my task," Solar said kneeling to the emperor "what is thy bidding?"
"Lord solar eclipse you shall head to tarterous and kill the other forces of evil in equestria leave none alive." Discord said with glee at the fact this ex princess/Jedi is now willingly his puppet.
"It shall be done my Lord." Solar said leaving with a bow.
"My Empire shall be so grand not even grand master Kaiber Crystal can stop me." Discord said at how he could rule anything or anyone at whim even the goddess of the sun.
*everfree forest*
"Master Kaiber you alright?" Twilight asked scared that she had found another surviver to this purge.
"Yes twilight I'm am fine but I'm afraid that the sith have been playing the senate and the republic all the time since discord became supreme Chancellor." Kaiber said sighing.
"Master what do you mean?" Twilight asked scared.
"Discord is the sith lord we've been looking for." Kaiber said in a monotone way.
Twilight drew back from this. Then she realised that Kaiber was telling the truth, why would he lie to another jedi it is against the code.
"So what do we do now?" Twilight asked curious at Kaiber's response to this.
"We take back the temple and find out if any others survived."
"Twilight what ever you see inside or whatever may happen don't panic." Kaiber said in a calming voice.
"Yes I shall try." Twilight said sounding kinda like fluttershy.
"Okay let's go." Kaiber said in such envusiasm that even pinkie pie would be upstaged.
The two Jedi headed towards the burning temple. Unluckily for them it was surrounded by a battalion of clone troopers who shot at the jedi on sight. But Kaiber ignited his saber and deflected the lasers back to the clone it came from.
"Wait a second Kaiber these are celestia's private battalion." Twilight said noticing the sun on the clones' shoulders
"mmm you are right but I sense her but something is wrong." Kaiber said stroking his chin.
"What do you mean?" Twilight practically screamed the question.
"Her force signature is faint but far away," Kaiber explained "But she seems alright."
"Where is she?" Twilight asked head tilted.
Kaiber sighed again at the unicorn's determination to find her mentor. "She could be anywhere the onlypony who would know is luna."
"Okay master," Twilight said bowing to him showing her loyalty to the Jedi order "But may I inquire into what you are doing in the security tapes?"
"I'm need to find out what happened to our friends and allies," The Grand Master said looking into the computer screen to reel back in shock, fear or worry. "NO NO IT CAN'T BE!"
Twilight ran to his aid "Master Kaiber are you okay?" she asked.
"Twilight do not approach Celestia in any circumstance," he said in a way that would scare anypony "She's turned to the Dark side."
*Meanwhile in Canterlot*
Luna was pacing in worry. She could see the temple in ponyville on fire her sister being a Jedi naturally she was worried. But then the sound of hooves could be heard from the entrance to the library.
"Luna."
Luna turned to see her sister behind her standing proud and suspicious. But luna didn't notice that because she was so happy to see her alive and well and instantly hugged her.
"Oh tia I saw the temple on fire I got a report from the chancellors office saying you had returned..." Luna cried out but silenced by celestia.
"Luna I'm fine but I'm afraid that the Jedi have rebelled against the republic." Celestia lied.
"Oh tia what are you going to do?" Luna asked worried.
"I'm going to stay loyal to the chancellor and to the republic," celestia boasted "I have seen master faust attempt to assassinate the chancellor herself."
"But what about Twilight?" Luna asked driving home a stake to the good left in the new born sith lord.
"I just hope she stays loyal to the chancellor," she lied "I have been ordered to capture the forces of evil that lie in tarterous for the chancellor I'll be back soon."
"Something is strange in the force I sense darkness and chaos," Master Faust said worried "I can see Celestia in great pain and sorrow."
"Lauren don't worry about that," Kaiber said in a kind way "I know we can find that sith lord and his apprentic e in a matter of speaking celestia and twilight have just caught up with count sombra."
"Oh really now does he still have chancellor Discord in his custody?" Lauren replied.
"I am afraid so but the two Jedi we have sent are skilled indeed," Kaiber reassured her "Anyhow I have been ordered to the crystal empire by senator cadence I'll see you in a week."
"Bye Kaiber." Lauren said unknowingly for the last time ever.
*meanwhile the old abandoned temple*
"Look master the chancellor" Twilight said noticing Discord sat on throne Unguarded.
"I sense a trap." Celestia said in a calming but subtle tone.
"What do we do?" Twilight asked concerned.
"We spring the trap," Celestia laughed with over envusiasm "And I thought you knew me."
"Just making sure that we are going to try something stupid," Twilight replied "Same as always then let's get this done quickly then."
In a awesome move the two mare's dropped into a makeshift throne room catching Discord's attention. But before a single word was said a chuckle came from behind them.
"Hello Jedi we've been expecting you," Sombra said in pure hate "Ah celestia the negotiater and Twilight sparkle I espected someone of your reputation to be a little older."
"Ah Sombra your shorter than I expected." Twilight jabbed back.
"Your lightsabers please we don't want to make a mess in front of the chancellor." A new voice came in from the other door to the left.
"Chrysalis." Twilight said gazing upon the mare who killed her brother.
"Oh so glad you remember me Twibright how is shining." Chrysalis chuckled delivering a very low blow to twilight's mind.
"Chrysalis you may have killed Twilight's brother but you shall not kill another being." Celestia countered.
"Oh ok then," Chrysalis laughed "But how will you stop me."
At this the two mares ignited their sabers with a look of focus and determination.
"Looks like we do this the hard way," Sombra said chuckling "My favourite way."
The two sith ignited their sabers and charged the jedi who stayed calm.
The fight was intense with sabers clashing left right and centre. But in the middle of the battle Twilight was thrown back by sheer lightning force energy and slammed into a nearby wall.
Seeing her pupil unconscious made celestia more determined. In a sudden burst of. Strength she decapitated sombra. But she felt no peace in that moment only anger and hate.
Chrysalis being wise decided to leave whilst she had a chance.
"A good work celestia." Discord congratulated when celestia released his bindings.
"Thank you chancellor but I shouldn't have done that," Celestia argued "He should have stood trial."
"True but he killed your master you wanted revenge I won't blame you for that." Discord said rubbing his wrist.
"Yes but it's not the Jedi way." Celestia countered.
"True but was to dangerous to be kept alive now grab your padowan and let's go." Discord said annoyed at the fact they had not left.
Celestia gave up arguing and woke up twilight. The trio left the ruins and headed for Canterlot.
The moment the jedi landed in Canterlot castle the chariot was surrounded by senators. Celestia could see master Lauren faust standing against a pillar smirking.
Discord was the first to exit the chariot. He received a phenomenal round of Applause. He was closely followed by celestia.
"You not coming twilight?" She asked tilting her head every so slightly.
"No master Kaiber wanted me to report to him," Twilight said "And besides I'm not brave enough for politics."
"Oh but why?" celestia asked.
"Face it celestia it was you who save me from the changelings and also killed count sombra and rescued the chancellor with me unconscious." Twilight diplomatically explained "Today you where the hero and deserve your glorious day with the politicians."
"Ok alright but you owe me one." celestia chuckled.
"Yeah yeah." Twilight waved off as the chariot turned for the crystal empire.
*Meanwhile in the crystal empire*
Kaiber Crystal was meditating until he saw his holocommunicator glow. He got up and answered the call.
"Hello Kaiber how's the empire I do hope you are enjoying yourself but I bring news twilight and celestia have returned." an blue hologram of Lauren faust standing before him.
"Oh hello Lauren kay humour me." Kaiber laughed.
"Well nothing went wrong so nothing fun about it but Celestia killed sombra," Lauren replied "But Discord said something which may help us destroy the sith and bring harmony to the force he said queen chrysalis has returned."
Kaiber sighed then said "Then finding her shall be the council's main priority."
"My thoughts exactly," Lauren Agreed "I shall arrange a meeting in ponyville temple immediately."
"Ok Lauren when twilight arrives we shall set off," he was interrupted by a Knock on the door "Speaking of the devil got to go."
"See you Kaiber." and with that the hologram switched off.
"Enter Twilight." Kaiber called turning to see the mare in question enter.
"Sorry master was I interrupting something." Twilight said sadly.
"No I have just been speaking to master faust," Kaiber explained to the Young padowan "we have arranged a meeting at the temple in ponyville and we shall ask you to attend in place of the late master blueblood."
"Really you want me to join the council," Twilight gasped in shock "I accept your offer grateful for your judgement on myself to see me as master potential."
"Yes twilight you have been accepted into the jedi high council." Kaiber said smiling.
"But what about celestia?" Twilight asked being curious about why the mare who trained her is still a Jedi Knight not a Jedi master.
"Because she is to reckless and doesn't plan things through as well as she should." Kaiber explained sadly.
"But isn't she not the chosen one," Twilight countered "The one to destroy the sith and bring harmony to the force."
Kaiber sighed "So the prophecy says," Twilight smilled at this hollow victory in this argument but that victory was cut short when the grand master's sentence finished "A prophecy misread could have been."
*meanwhile in Canterlot*
"Ah celestia I see you received my summons,' discord said seeing the alicorn enter "I suspect your wondering why I have asked you here."
Celestia nodded in response.
"I can no longer trust the jedi council anymore but I can trust you," Discord said in a calming voice "I am appointing you to be my personal representative on the jedi council, you shall be the eyes, ears and voice of the republic."
Celestia reared back in shock "Chancellor I am honoured by this but the council elects it's own members it'll never accept this."
"Oh I don't doubt that but they need you celestia more than you know..."
*Ponyville Jedi temple main council chamber*
"Take this appointment lightly the council does not," Kaiber said stroking his chin "Disturbing move from the chancellor this is."
"You are on this council but we don't grant you the rank of master." master faust said in a calm but decisive tone.
"What, how can I be on the council and not be a master?" celestia started to rant "it has never been done in the history of the Jedi It is insulting..."
"Take a seat Celestia" Lauren interrupted.
"Yes master." celestia said sitting
"We need to find chrysalis unless the senate will continue to vote to continue the war." master flash sentry. said in a calm tone.
"But what about the changeling attack on the crystal empire?" Master macintosh asked.
"He's right it's a city we cannot afford to lose." Twilight said in agreement.
"I shall arrange a battalion of clone guards to escort me to support the forces their." Kaiber said stroking his chin.
"Tis settled then master Kaiber will take a battalion of clone guards to help the crystal empire," Lauren Agreed with her emotionless tone "Council adjourned."
*After the meeting*
"How can they put me on the council and not make me a master." celestia moaned.
"Celestia it's because your to close to the chancellor," Twilight explained "We don't like it when he interferes in jedi affairs."
Celestia sighed "I didn't ask to be on the council."
"But it's what you wanted " Twilight countered "It seems your freindship with Discord has paid off." Twilight started to stare off into the distance. But Celestia was oblivious to this.
"What's that supposed mean?" She asked in an annoyed tone.
"Celestia I didn't want to put you in this position " Twilight sighed "The council wants you to report on the chancellor's dealings we need to know what he's up to."
Celestia in shock gasped "You want me to spy on the chancellor?)
"We need to know what he's doing our allegiance is to the senate not leader," Twilight countered "Who has stayed in office long after his term has expired."
"the senate demanded he stay longer." celestia said in defence.
Twilight shook her head and sighed "Celestia search your feelings something is not right."
"This is what is not right," celestia snapped at twilight "your asking me to betray a mentor And a friend." After her rant she calmly asked "Why are you asking this of me?"
Twilight simply said "The council is asking you."
"Why didn't they give me this assignment in session?" celestia asked after a awkward silence.
"This assignment is not to be on record," Twilight said sadly "But after this the council may make you a master I do not doubt that."
*Meanwhile griffin Kingdom*
Chrysalis landed in griffinstone a highly dilapidated town with a very deep gorge within the separatest were hiding.
"Lord anarchaos what is thy orders?" Chrysalis asked a hologram of a hodded figure.
"Chrysalis move the separatest leaders to tarterous." the figure replied.
"it shall be done," Chrysalis bowed "But what about the death of count sombra-"
Anarchaos just said "His death was a necessary loss soon I'll have a new apprentice one that's younger and far more powerful."
*Canterlot opera house*
Celestia walked into the chancellor's private booth and stood beside him.
"You summoned me chancellor." She asked in confusion.
"Ah celestia come I have Good news," he said turning to the other politicians "Leave us." they bowed to Discord and left celestia tacking a seat.
"our clone intelligence units have received word that chrysalis is hidden in griffinstone." Discord explained.
"Good soon could capture that monster and end this war." celestia said a little bit over excited.
"I'll be surprised if the council don't assign you to this your the best choice," Discord said making celestia edgy "by far." Discord finished his sentence making the word far being emphasised highly.
"Well my trust in them has been shaken." celestia sighed sadly.
Discord chuckled slightly but Celestia didn't notice "The council asked you to do something you thought dishonest," he said as if he read her thoughts "They asked you to spy on me didn't they."
Celestia was shocked at this because it seemed to easy for him to work out. But Discord changed the subject quickly.
"Have you heard the tragedy of darth starswirl the bearded?" Discord asked to celestia just shook her head "It's not a tale the jedi would tell you, Starswirl was a dark lord of sith he was so wise and so powerful he could influence the midiclorians to create life." Discord looked at celestia who was intrigued "The only thing he was afraid of was losing his power which of course he did his apprentice who had taught e Everything he knew to killed him in his sleep."
Celestia didn't care about the murder bit "Is it possible to learn this power?" she asked.
"Discord thinks that chrysalis is hidden in griffinstone." Twilight asked with interest.
"A diplomatic packet was received by the chairman of griffinston." celestia replied in a serious tone.
"Act on this the council must." Kaiber said to his fellow masters in a holographic form.
"Yes but who shall go?" Lauren Agreed.
"The chancellor has elected I lead the campaign." Celestia said in a tone of pride.
"The council will make up it's own mind who is to go." Lauren countered.
"I concur master sparkle should go." master macintosh said.
"Ok Tis settled then master sparkle will head to griffinstone." Kaiber said "council adjourned."
*chariot bay 1754*
"Your gonna need me on this one twilight." Celestia said to her old pupil who's now technically her mentor.
"Oh I don't doubt that," Twilight chuckled "But It could just be a wild mantacore chase."
Celestia nodded at twilight's logic but she wanted to go.
"Celestia I know that you think the council is excluding you but it won't be long before you will be a master," Twilight smilled "I think this war is changing the republic day by day and we cannot stop the chaos this war is bringing."
"master may the force be with you." celestia said waving to twilight as she left.
"And with you celestia." waving back a she step aboard the chariot.
*meanwhile the crystal empire*
"Grand Master crystal the changelings are advancing." a guard commander informed.
"Then now the time is commander." Kaiber said stroking his mane just to look awesome.
"Yes sir." the commander said walking to the side to order his troopers into position.
"Master Kaiber are you sure that we are safe?" senator cadence asked her old freind.
"Senator my squadron of arc ponies and guards are the most loyal and dedicated soilders I've had an honer fighting beside," Kaiber reassured the shakey mare "and also the grand master of the entire jedi order beside you as a personal protection protocol."
"I suppose you're right," cadence agreed "and if that fails my chariot will take me to the everfree forest rendezvous."
"precisely." Kaiber laughed.
"I shall wait in my chariot as a precaution." cadence notified.
"I have to stay in the command centre don't hesitate to take off with or without me." Kaiber orderd.
*Discord's office.*
"Celestia I am hurt by the fact that the council don't trust you enough for the mission." Discord said in a suspicious manner.
"I believe that the council choose the best mare for the job." Celestia said in a calm tone.
"Yes master sparkle is a very skillfull jedi per say," Discord agreed "But I reckon the council are excluding you from their plot," celestia looked at the chancellor in awe "I reckon the jedi are planning to take over the republic to gain more power."
"But the jedi use their power for good to help others." Celestia countered at the shocking accusations from discord.
"Good is only a matter of view like the sith and jedi are equally guilty in the fight for power," Discord chuckled "each thinking they are doing it for the good of the galaxy but it's making it worse for somewhere else like my mentor you need both sides of the force to achieve true power."
"You know the ways of the force." celestia retorted.
"my mentor taught me everything about the force even the nature of the dark side." Discord said in a evil but calm tone.
"Your the sith lord!" Celestia exclaimed.
"Celestia if one is to know life's great mystery we have to study all aspects not just the dogmatic view of the Jedi," Discord said as he dropped his act "you want to kill me don't you."
"I would most certainly like to." celestia said in anger.
"Oh I know you would I can feel your anger it gives you focus." Discord said chaotically.
"I am going to turn the council they shall decide your fate." Celestia said calming down.
"Oh you should as it's the jedi thing to do but use my knowledge I beg you," Discord pleaded "The knowledge to save luna."
Celestia just shook her head and left.
*Just outside griffinstone*
Twilight was standing in a tent sarounded by some of the finest warriors she ever knew. The clone guards.
"Ok commander sunset what is the pla?" Twilight asked in a way basketball players do when receiving orders from a coach.
"Ah master sparkle I am glad you could join us," the clone she nicknamed sunset shimmer (sunset for short) replied "it seems that the changelings are hidden in griffinstone gorge ma'am."
"Thanks Sunset I'll go ahead just don't be late." Twilight said walking away.
"When have i ever let you down?" sunset asked rhetorically.
"Fine I'll try not destroy all the bugs by the time you have arrived." Twilight returned flying off.
*griffinstone library*
As twilight came into land a small group of griffins came meet including the chairman of griffinstone Gilda.
"Hello master jedi what brings you to our remote sanctuary?" she asked as if she'd something to hide.
Twilight being the diplomat she is replied foolishly "Unfortunately the war."
In quick defence Gilda replied "No war here unless you've brought it with you."
Twilight was curious at this quick defence show but she didn't question it.
"In that case is it alright if I can use your town as I search nearby villages for queen chrysalis?" Twilight politely asked.
Gilda nodded ans whispered "She is here in the gorge thousands of changlings we are being held hostage."
Twilight bowed as a sign to leave "if you have warriors now is the time." she said respectively.
The griffins bowed back as twilight went away. What both parties didn't see was a changeling watching the whole conversation.
"Spike tell sunset I've made contact." Twilight said into her holocom to her little droid dragon.
Twilight in a slight of hand kind of way used a hologram of herself leave and started to sneak into the gorge. Luckily she found a ventilation shaft that she could fit through. Even luckier it lead her to her target. Chrysalis.
"I am sending you all to the relm of tarterous under orders of lord anarchaos it is a volcanic relm you'll be safe there." Twilight caught chrysalis say.
"Safe after you let the chancellor escape and count sombra die I have no trust in your ability to keep us safe." viceroy triple declared slamming her hoof on the table.
"Think yourself lucky viceroy that you have not found yourself in my grasp," Chrysalis laughed "It won't be long until the army of the republic track us here to your chariots."
Twilight took this as her cue to make herself known a trait she picked up over the years.
"Why hello there." Twilight said cheekily.
"Kill her." Chrysalis orderd as 4 changeling mega guards approached.
Twilight reacted quick getting in a ataru stance lightsaber ignited but she then did something no one suspected. In a quick move of her hoof a boulder smashed into her opponents killing them.
Chrysalis grunted in anger and changelings surrounded twilight weapons armed.
"No I'll deal with this Jedi slime myself." Chrysalis coughed as the changelings lowered their weapons.
"Your move." Twilight chuckled in confidence.
"You fool count sombra trained in your jedi arts." Chrysalis laughed as she took of the Cape she was wearing showing a duel saber like darth tirek the one who killed her freind Rainbow Dash in the battle for Cloudsdale.
*Flashback (Battle of cloudsdale)*
"Ok guards on me." Senator luna said in a way of aggressive but subtle leadership.
"What the plan senator." Rainbow asked ready and raring to go.
"Well pinkie pies distraction bellow has worked a treat most of the changelings have gone to attack," Luna smiling at the clumsy mare's somehow tactical genius "But we're in the senate building we have to locate the viceroy."
The group nodded and headed to a door on the other end of the room. But almost on arrival the door opened to reveal a red centaur in a black cloak with eyes of yellow.
"Celestia stay with senator me and twilight can handle this." Rainbow ordered.
"But master dash she's just your padowan against a sith lord." celestia countered.
"stay with the politicians." Rainbow ordered again.
"We shall take the long way." captain spitfire said of the cloudsdale senetorial guard. "Ok captain." Twilight said as a unicorn then.
The group of ponys and celestia made a right turn to another door. But the two Jedi remained they both ignited their respective sabers. The sith just smilled pulling out what seemed like a one bladed staff. But two blood red blades shot out of the sides ready to kill.
Twilight was the first to attack flowed closely by rainbow dash in flash the sith blocked both sabers and the dual was on. The three dualist fought hard and fast none of them letting up.
The dual was only changed by the beam doors. Huge red sheets of pure light when touched will burn skin down to the bone not even a lightsaber could cut it.
Twilight was trapped at a hallway with about ten filled. Seven doors in front rainbow was face to face with the sith lord who was waiting on the other side attempting to intimidate her but she kept calm and meditated. In a quick flash the sith and rainbow dash ignited their sabers and locked blades as twilight attempted to catch up but fell at the last hurdle as a beam of read stopped her dead in her tracks leaving rainbow alone with the the sith.
It didn't take long before rainbow was showing Signs of losing. Which the sith noticed and took to his advantage. In a move of his wrist rainbow dropped her weapon and the sith plunged the saber into her side.
"NO!" Twilight shouted trying to stay calm at the loss of a dear freind and mentor.
When door opened Twilight did everything in her power to make the dark lord pay for what he had done. The sith started to toy with the younger padowan doing simple blocks until he kicked her. She luckily grabbed a light poking out of the endless looking pit. As a taunt her opponent kicked her lightsaber down the abyss. This twilight more determined to beat him she looked up at her dead freind and saw her saber. This got her thinking if she could get her master's saber and flip behind him I could win this.
So she put her plan into motion. She did a amazing flip and called the saber with the force cutting the sith in half. The sith lord who wasn't expecting that fell down into the pit. But twilight didn't care she was already at rainbow dash's side.
"I've done it master." Twilight said holding dash in her arms.
"Twilight," Rainbow said so weakly that she sounded like fluttershy "Ask master Kaiber to get celestia to complete your training for I am becoming one with the force."
"Ok master." twilight replied.
"Don't worry I am becoming about twenty percent cooler." Rainbow wheezed closing her eyes.
Twilight holstered rainbows lightsaber and carried her body out to the chariot they arrived in. She put her saber in rainbow's hoof and holocalled master Kaiber.
"Hello young twilight is master dash with you?" Kaiber asked unknowingly bringing up the death so soon.
"No master I'm sorry to report that my master died at the hand of a sith warrior." Twilight sobbed.
"I'm sorry to hear that that young padowan," Kaiber sympathised "But what has happened to this warrior."
Twilight knew that she shouldn't be upset about she should rejoice for those who become one with the force. "Master I avenged master Dash but she requested that celestia should finish my training." Twilight said sadly.
"Mmm accept this I shall," Kaiber agreed "But Celestia is a bit reckless." this made twilight want to become her apprentice more "If you'd rather master Lauren Agreed to tutor you."
Twilight shook her head "I shall for fill my mentor's last request." she felt proud at her dedication.
"Ok we will give master dash the funeral of honer bring her to the temple where I'll tell celestia her assignment." Kaiber bowed.
"it shall be done master." twilight said ending the transmission.
Twilight turned to see Celestia walking towards them with a look of victory on her face.
"Celestia I see you won but where is the viceroy?" Twilight asked not bringing up the death of celestia's closest freind. She just couldn't bring herself to do it.
"She ran before we even got close but we won the battle just as I see you won yours." Celestia replied.
"Master Dash didn't make it." Twilight blurted out.
Celestia realed back in shock then she saw the mare in question lying in the carriage with a pierced hole in her chest. What happened next Twilight was not expecting the older jedi collapsed crying.
"WAS SHE AVENGED?" Celestia asked angry at the sith who caused this.
"Yes I saw to it personally that he was not alive." Twilight reassured the mare.
"Well twilight let us go to the temple I sense that master Kaiber has prepared a funeral pyre." Celestia said climbing inside the chariot followed.
*The temple (Still Flashback)*
The Body of the late master Rainbow Dash lay upon a pyre of logs. After a moment of silence for the fallen jedi who had died honourably. Then Kaiber used the force to light the pyre. The flames engulfed the equestrian and set her soul free becoming one with the force.
"Always to there are no more no less," Kaiber said to his oldest and most trusted freind Lauren who stood next to him " A master and an apprentice."
"But which was destroyed the master or the apprentice?" Lauren replied.
On the other side of the room Twilight and Celestia stood keeping a superb poker face.
"Master Kaiber has given me permission to carry out the rest of your training twilight," Celestia smilled "He said Rainbow would've wanted it that way."
Twilight chuckled lightly at this "It was her dying wish he gave me a choice you or master faust," she replied "master dash told me to let you mentor me so I went with her wish."
"Well I'm ment to be the chosen one or so the,prophecy says." Celestia chuckled.
"Who better to teach me then." Twilight replied smiling.
*Back in the gorge*
"Ah twilight I think you recognise my saber," Chrysalis laughed at twilight's flinch "You should it was darth tyrek's the same one that killed an old friend of yours."
"Don't you dare say her name she died a hero to the republic." Twilight countered showing chrysalis what she wanted. A reaction.
"Master Dash so headstrong and so foolish taking on tirek all alone," Chrysalis taunted "If only someone else had helped her she'll be alive right now."
Twilight was so raged by this disregard to her old mentor's death. She remembered what master Kaiber had told her about anger. (Fear leads to anger and anger leads to hate and hate leads to suffering) but this changeling was going down no matter what.
"Well well no reaction," Chrysalis commended "Maybe you can control your lightsaber better than your temper." at this chrysalis ignited her saber and flipped towards twilight. Which twilight expected and blocked slicing the lightsaber at one end making it a single blade.
"Damn jedi." chrysalis cursed as she started to attack quite viciously.
Twilight was blocking left, right and centre just to stay alive. But at that moment sunset dropped in with a task force of clones dropped into the battlefield instantly mowing down changelings.
"Army or not you must realise that you are doomed." Chrysalis said seriously.
"I don't think so!" Twilight replied pushing chrysalis back with the force knocking her down a level. Hence dropping her saber.
As twilight moved to engage a loose shell made her drop her saber which sunset picked up.
Down a level chrysalis was holding a mega guard staff but twilight noticed a small blaster on the floor. She quickly grabbed it and shot chrysalis dead.
"So uncivilised." Twilight said throwing the blaster into the gorge.
"Master Faust wait," Celestia called to the older jedi "I have something to tell you."
"We are just about to inform the Chancellor of Chrysalis's death," Lauren said as monotone as always "Maybe he will give up his emergency powers."
"He won't give up his power I have discovered a dark truth," Celestia sighed "Chancellor Discord is the sith lord we've been looking for."
"A sith lord?" Lauren asked showing concern.
"He said that he knows the way of the force," Celestia explained "He's been trained to use the dark side."
"Then our worse fears have been realised," Lauren replied in a way so serious Celestia was shocked "We have to move fast if the republic is to survive."
"I agree." celestia agreed.
"Celestia stay in the council chambers until I return," Lauren sighed "if what you have told me is true you have earned my trust."
*Discord's office*
The Chancellor was sat on his chair looking out at the city of Canterlot shimmering in the moon's light. He then heard a door open behind him. He spun his chair around to see jedi.
"Ah I take it that Chrysalis has been destroyed then." Discord smilled.
"Chancellor I am arresting you in the name of the galactic senate of the republic." Lauren said igniting her saber.
"What why," Discord said trying to sound shocked "So she did tell you that mare can't keep her mouth shut."
"Come on Discord leave peacefully and you'll be alive at the end of all this." Lauren said trying to reason with the sith.
"Are you threatening me master Jedi?" Discord asked evily.
"If you don't cooperate I shall do what I must." Lauren countered.
"It's treason then." Discord smilled evily igniting his saber and jumping at Lauren. The jedi reacted quick and deflected the sith's blade. The duel was on.
*Jedi temple main council chamber*
Celestia was pacing in the council chambers. Her mind was conflicted between staying and going to help. Her decision could change the course of the future greatly. For herself and also others especially Luna.
"Oh what to do," she said rubbing her head in deep thought "If I stay master faust would be happy that I can listen to the council but might kill the chancellor when I need his knowledge to save luna."
But as she paced to be other side of the room she was like a different person "If I go I can make sure that the chancellor survives but it may have it's consequences to the battle." she said still arguing.
She sighed and left the chamber taking off for Canterlot.
*Discord's office*
The battle was heated like an oven. Both warriors masters of their respective duelling style. The sabers locked and,when separated Discord's went out of a shattered window.
Lauren had him cornered against one of the window panes.
"You are under arrest my Lord!" Lauren said triumphantly.
It was at this point Celestia walked in. Discord used this to his full advantage.
"Celestia look I was right they're taking over.!" he said in a innocent tone.
"Face it chancellor you have lost." Lauren said trying to make him come freely.
"No no you will die," Discord replied angrily. He started to shoot lightning out of his hands "She's a traitor."
Lauren spun her lightsaber to block the lightning "He is the traitor!" she shouted in reply.
"I have the power to save the one you love." Discord pleaded.
"Don't listen to him Celestia!" Lauren grunted.
"Please don't let her kill me," Discord pleaded sounding very weak "I I can't hold it I i I'm weak to weak."
With that he dropped his hands and wheezed Lauren putting her blade at him again.
"It's time to end this once,and for all!" she declared.
"You can't he must stand trial." celestia countered.
"He has control of the senate and the courts he's to dangerous to be left alive." Lauren countered.
"It's not the Jedi way," Celestia pleaded "I need him."
Lauren raised her saber for a decisive blow.
"No please don't." Discord pleaded one last time.
"Nooooooo!" Celestia shouted igniting her saber and sliced off Lauren's hand.
"POWER!" Discord exclaimed shooting lightning out again "UNLIMITED POWER!"
Lauren now defenseless took the full power of the lightning and in pain fell out the window to the streets bellow.
"What have I done?" Celestia asked rhetorically rhetorically.
"You are forfilling your destiny," Discord said in a convincing tone "Become my apprentice and learn a power far greater than any Jedi."
"I will do whatever you ask." Celestia said submitting.
"Good good." Discord chuckled evily.
"I pledge myself to your teachings," Celestia sighed "Just help me save luna's."
"To cheat death is a power only one has succeeded," Discord explained "But if we work together we can unlock the secret."
"Master I think I maybe the only jedi with no knowledge of this plot." Celestia said in realisation.
"Yes every single jedi including your friend master sparkle is now an enemy of the republic." Discord chuckled chaotically. "Once more the sith shall rule the galaxy and we shall have peace."
"Sunset tell your troopers to move to the higher levels." Twilight said landing next to her trusted freind.
"Yes ma'am," sunset said "Oh you might be Needing this."
Twilight saw her saber in sunset's hand.
"Ah thank you now come on we've got a battle to win." She said flying across to another part of the gorge.
Sunset saw a flash at her side. She turned on her holocommunicator and saw a hooded figure.
"Commander sunset execute order 66!" it said.
"It shall be done my Lord," sunset replied "Blast her!"
A turret turned and shot Twilight's wing. She dropped into the gorge but landed in a small ledge unconscious.
*Manehaten*
Master sentry was leading a charge against the changelings in Manehaten. But his squadron of commandos stopped behind him.
"Come on!" he shouted on encouragement. But the clones raised their weapons and just shot at the jedi. He did his best to block the shots but he had two army's shooting at him and died.
*Applooza*
Master Macintosh was patroling with two clones. He was about to get aboard a train but the clones shot him down.
*vanhoover*
Master Whooves was meditating in his secret temple guarded by a battalion of clone troopers. But they came in.
"What's the meaning of this?" whooves asked.
"Sorry sir orders." the commander said shooting him.
*The crystal empire*
Kaiber was stood looking out at the battle in front of him. But he felt pain. He felt death. He fell to the floor holding his head in pain. Visions of clones killing Jedi. His trusted droid r2d2 came to help but the jedi refused help. Stepping up he saw the medic and his commander enter. He will not die today. He ignited his saber and killed the clones and ran towards the station.
"Cadence we have to go now I'm sorry senetor," Kaiber said "The clones tried to kill me head to the rendezvous without a clone escort."
"Ok master Jedi headed off now good luck." Cadence replied through the headset.
Kaiber saw her chariot leave and was happy. He had to get to the temple. He had to find survivers. He hoped that maybe one day he could rebuild the Jedi order after whatever dark times lay ahead.
*Cadence's chariot near Jedi temple.*
Cadence was almost at her rendezvous when she saw the great jedi temple on fire.
"Pilot please land at the temple." she ordered.
"Yes senetor." her droid C3PO replied.
The droid landed the chariot nicely and cadence stepped out and headed towards the temple. But before she got near a trio of clones stopped her.
"What's the meaning of this!" Cadence asked.
"There has been a rebellion," the clone lied "Ma'am I'm going to have to ask you to leave."
"I understand." Cadence replied turning to leave. But when she got into the chariot she saw a youngling attack the clones but got killed in the action.
"NO!" she shouted as 3P0 took off.
"Let her go." the commander said tapping another trooper on the shoulder.
*Griffinstone gorge*
Twilight came to at the sound of sunset's voice.
"Any sign of the Jedi?" she asked angry.
"No nopony can survive that fall." a different clone explained.
At this twilight sneaked through a hidden tunnel. She followed the tunnel until the exit. She found herself in the everfree forest. She started to trek through the woods looking for someone except clones. Then she saw him landing. Kaiber.
"Master Kaiber is that you?" Cadence asked into the darkness seeing two figures.
"Yes cadence I've found another surviver." Kaiber reassured the pink alicorn who was alone.
"Hello senetor where is your protocol droid C3PO." Twilight greated.
"He went to see if senetor luna was alright," Cadence explained "But Artoo is in the chariot ready to go."
"I have to speak to luna to find Celestia," Twilight explained "could I use Artoo as a piolet."
"Sure the chancellor has called an emergency session of Congress I'll drop you off after just hide in the back." cadence agreed.
"I must confront the chancellor," Kaiber said "He is not what he seems."
"What do you mean?" Cadence asked.
"Discord is a sith lord." Twilight replied instantly. Kaiber nodded in agreement.
"I will do all I can to help other Jedi," Cadence notified "Me and a few other senetors have wanted to get him out of office since the war began."
"Master faust tried but Celestia killed her." Kaiber said sadly.
"We have to get a group together and rebel," Cadence planned "I know some people in the senate who may help us."
"I have contact I can try but he's not from around here." Twilight said contributing.
"If I fail I'll go into hiding in my old master's hut in this woods." Kaiber said.
"Let's sneak into Canterlot then." cadence said stoked.
"Come on then." Twilight said jumping aboard.
"Allonsy!" Kaiber said stepping up.
When the two Jedi hid safely in the chariot Artoo took off.
*Canterlot senetor building*
"Ok if we keep our hoods up I can hide us using the force." Kaiber explained to Twilight as they followed cadence towards the building.
"Yes master twilight sighed. She was a little shaken that they maybe the only jedi left. They would have to go into hiding after all this. Unless Discord was destroyed.
"Twilight you go meat your contact with Artoo," Kaiber said "Then ask luna where to find Celestia leave out no detail."
"I shall master may the force be with you." Twilight replied.
"And with you." Kaiber smilled back.
Twilight turned and headed towards the chariot where Artoo was waiting.
"Senator I'm ready for this," Kaiber reassured "Just stay calm they can't see me because I have cloaked myself in the force."
Cadence nodded and walked into the building to be stopped by clones. They searched her for weapons but she had none. Kaiber on the other hand just walked straight through with no objections and his saber at the ready. Cadence was let through and they headed towards the box for her state.
"Ok let's hear what lies he produces now." Kaiber whispered.
"Fellow senetors I have gathered you today to talk about an issue of great importance," he stated "The rebellion against the republic by the Jedi order."
The senate gasped except from cadence who saw through the lies.
"One of them master faust tried to assassinate me," Discord boomed "The attempt on my life has left me scared but my resolve has never been stronger."
The senate started to clap. Loudly and foolishly.
"From this day the republic is to reformed into the first equestrian empire." Discord shouted getting a huge uproar of Applause.
Luna came into the box at that moment.
"So this is how liberty dies," she said "In thunderous Applause."
"From this day on the remaining Jedi will be hunted down and defeated!" Discord exclaimed almost giving his game away.
"I can't believe that the jedi would rebel," Cadence agreed "I believe he's lying about the Jedi just so he can make this empire happen."
"Mmm you maybe right," Luna said stroking her chin "Are the others still willing to rebel."
"As far as we know yes." Kaiber said manipulating his force cloak so she could see him as well.
"Master Kaiber what are you doing here?" Luna whispered to the Jedi.
"I need to stop the newly refurbished appointed emperor," Kaiber explained "He is a sith lord twilight will meet at your chambers to explain later."
"Master your window has opened Discord has gone into his office." Cadence said. It was true the automated doors in the bottom was closed and discord's podium was gone.
"Goodbye freinds." Kaiber said leaving.
"Master may the force be with you." Cadence said smiling.
*Twilight's contact*
"Ah twilight what can I get you?" Dex an old friend of twilight asked as she entered his bar.
"Nothing Dex but tell Han and chewie I need a word." Twilight replied in a serious tone.
"Sure thing." Dex said leaving. Twilight always liked Dex because he reminded her of a pink pony she met before Dash died.
"Ah Twilight when Dex called I knew something was up." The human known as Han solo said in a smug way.
"Hello captain Solo it's been a while." Twilight replied just as smug.
"What brings you out here," Han asked "Except the clones gunning for ya."
"Well that's it," Twilight said "We are setting up a rebellion and we want your help."
"My help oh you must be in trouble," Han laughed "What are you willing to pay for it?"
"Once a smuggler always a smuggler," Twilight said "How about your ship the millennium falcon."
"Now that is an offer I can't refuse." Han smilled.
"You can only have it when the war is over if you survive that is." Twilight diplomatically said.
"Fine I'll meet you soon." Han agreed.
"The everfree forest Is where we'll set up our base in the caves." Twilight called to the leaving smuggler.
*Discord's office*
As master Kaiber entered the two red guards attempted to stop him but he waved his hoof and they fell like dominoes.
"Master Kaiber you survived!" Discord scowled.
"Surprised are you emperor," Kaiber asked sarcastically "Or should I do call darth anarchaos?"
"Leave us," Discord said to his adviser "Now you will die."
Discord shot a small burst of lightning at the unexpectent Jedi which sent him flying into the wall behind. Whilst chuckling evily Discord walked towards Kaiber. But before he shot another bolt Kaiber force pushed pushed him into the desk.
Discord ignited his saber and jumped at Kaiber. But the jedi flipped over him and ignited his blade.
"You realise you can't win," Discord chuckled "If you kill me lord eclipse will become more powerful than both of us."
"Not if anything to say about it I have?" Kaiber said forcing discord onto the podium and started to raise it into the now empty senate chamber. Kaiber kept flipping and discord kept blocking.
But then discord jumped into a senetors box and started to throw them at Kaiber but master. Dodged two and grabbed the third. He used the force to make it spin. But the emperor laughed at the fact he thought he crushed Kaiber. Then he noticed a spinning object commingled right. He dodged it and landed on the podium.
"If so powerful you are why do you run?" Kaiber asked reigniting his lightsaber.
Discord reignited his and struck at Kaiber making him drop his. Kaiber flipped and grabbed the saber using the force and crawled into a shaft.
"Cadence you there?" he asked at an exit hatch easy for a drop pick up.
"Yes activate your homing become when ready." she explained.
Kaiber activated the beacon and jumped through the exit landing next to twilight.
"Master nice of you to drop in she joked." Twilight gasped.
"Ha ha Ok Artoo to senetor luna's home." Kaiber laughed.
Artoo beeped in conformation.
"Failed I have into hiding I must go." Kaiber explained.
The chariot stopped for a brief moment and twilight stepped out Luna saw her sisters friend but no one can know her secret.
"Master sparkle please come and join me," Luna smiled "Master Kaiber told me of your imminent arrival."
"Luna is celestia here?" Twilight asked.
"No I haven't seen her since yesterday." Luna lied.
Twilight could sense she was lying. She was protecting her. She was protecting something else as well something important twilight used her Telepathic sense. What she found out was understandable. Luna was pregnant. But there was a huge midiclorian count from the child. Twilight looked harder the baby wasn't luna's but Celestia's.
"Luna I must find her," Twilight explained "She's in terrible danger."
"From the sith?" Luna asked worried.
"From herself I'm afraid Celestia has turned to the Dark side," Twilight explained "I've seen a security holocron showing her killing younglings."
"No not Celestia she wouldn't." Luna defended.
"I have to find her." Twilight replied.
"Your gonna kill her aren't you?" Luna asked already knowing the answer.
"She's become a very great threat." Twilight pleaded.
Luna looked giving a signal for twilight to leave.
"the baby is Celestia's isn't it," Twilight asked getting no reply "I'm so sorry."
As she left "3PO get me my chariot."
*everfree forest rebel echo 1*
"Hello anyone home?" Han called into the cave.
"Rrraghrr!" chewbacca road as a 'try again'
"What you think I'm doing fuzzball." Han countered.
"Ah you must be Twilight's contact," Kaiber said appearing behind Han making him jump. "I'm grand master Kaiber Crystal of the late Jedi order."
"Han solo and this is my friend chewbacca." Han,re smug.
"Well Han please come in and make yourself at home." Kaiber chuckled.
Inside the caves was a high tech civilization. With maps of the everfree and recon and even a fully operational command hub. The senators had this planned for years they just needed a cause. Freedom.
"Holy bantha." Han said.
"Rrraghrr agar" chewie roared 'like hoth'
"More warmer than hoth," Han laughed. "master Kaiber I and chewie aren't from here we got stuck here when I miscalculated a hyperspace jump."
"Yes twilight did mention that." Kaiber retorted.
"Well we've experienced this before," Han explained "We even had a Jedi his name Luke skywalker and his father turned out to be a sith lord but died converted back to light side by doing his prophecy bringing balance to the force."
"Hmm interesting," master whooves twin brother (Doctor whooves) "Han I believe that you have somehow crossed into a alternative reality the same series of events but altered somehow strange."
"Han this is the doctor our lead scientist," Kaiber introduced "His twin just recently died in the purge."
"I'm sorry for your loss doc." Han sympathized.
"No need to apologize," The Doctor said "Just help us win this war."
"u rah." Han said.
Then cadence entered the room. Han instantly thought there is the Leia of this reality.
"Ah captain Solo I'm senator cadence." she introduced.
"Hello your senatorialness." Han joked.
"Rrraghrr agar re." chewie roared! 'NO HAN DON'T'
"just senator is fine captain." cadence scowled.
"OK senator where are we staying?" Han asked nicely.
"We?" Cadence asked.
"Me and chewie." Han said smug making a gesture to the wookie.
"Right this way."
*senatorial landing bay 7*
Luna was walking to the chariot closely followed by C3PO. But what she didn't realize was twilight hidden under the seat.
*Tarterous *
"don't worry viceroy the war is over," lord anarchaos addressed the separatist leaders sat round the table gazing upon the hologram "My new apprentice lord eclipse will be along shortly to take care of you."
The transmission ended and about five minutes later solar eclipse walked in closing the exits with the force.
"Lord eclipse it is a honor..." viceroy trixie started to say but got chocked to death.
Solar ignited her saber and killed anything that moved.
*20 minutes later*
Solar saw a chariot land and saw Luna exit followed by Artoo. But Luna ordered,him to stay with 3PO.
"Luna what are you doing here?" she asked asked.
"Tia i'm worried," Luna sobbed "Twilight told me terrible things."
"What things?" Solar asked in anger that Luna was conversing with a Jedi.
"That you turned to the dark side," she cried "That you killed younglings."
"Twilight is trying to turn you against me." Celestia dismissed.
"She wants to help us." Luna begged.
"US?" Solar asked confused.
"She knows," Luna explained "She wants to help."
"I don't need her help I've become far more powerful than any Jedi," Solar replied "And I've done it for us."
"Celestia please all i want is your love." Luna pleaded.
"Love wont save you Luna only my new powers can do that." Solar boasted.
"At what cost," Luna Sobbed "your a good person don't do this, Come run whilst we still can and raise this baby."
"You see we don't have to run away anymore," Solar laughed "I'm more powerful than the chancellor i can overthrow him."
"I don't believe what I'm hearing twilight was right," Luna said backing away "You've changed Tia."
"I don't want to hear about twilight." Solar scowled.
"Tia Please end this your breaking my heart," Luna pleaded "Your going down a path that i can't follow."
"Because of Twilight." Solar scowled.
"Because of what you've done," Luna countered "Because of what you plan to do."
Solar saw Twilight exit the chariot behind Luna.
"LIAR," She shouted "You've brought her here to kill me!"
Luna took one look at Twilight "No..." she said before getting choked lightly.
"Let her go Celestia," Twilight shouted "LET HER GO."
Celestia loosened her grip and Luna fell unconscious to the floor.
"You turned her against me!" Celestia said taking off her cape,
"You have done that yourself." Twilight countered throwing her cloak to the floor.
"You will not take her from me." Celestia shouted at her former friend.
"Your lust for power has already done that," Twilight explained "You have let this dark lord to twist your mind until you have become the very thing you sought to destroy."
"Don't lecture me twilight I see through the lies of the Jedi," Celestia said "I Do not fear the the dark side as you do, for I have brought peace and security to my new empire."
"Your new empire?" Twilight asked.
"Don't make me kill you!" Celestia scowled.
"Celestia my allegiance is to the republic," Twilight Stated "To democracy."
"If your not with me then your my enemy." Celestia said turning her back.
"Only a sith deals an absolutes," Twilight said igniting her light saber "I'll do what I must."
"You will try." Celestia said back flipping to attack.
The two sabers clashed. It was a battle of heroes. the sabers spun at immense speed each clash was dealt with high power. the two fought through the control center where Celestia left the bodies of the separatists. Twilight was using her full knowledge of Sorsou to overcome Celestia's Shien and Djem So mix.
Celestia grabbed Twilight's neck and hand and tried to pressure twilight into killing herself. But Twilight kicked her way out of the lock. Disarming celestia in the process. But celestia drop kicked twilight disarming her. Both warriors grabbed their saber with the force and clashed them together forming a lock. They both put out their hands causing the force t propel them apart destroying a console that kept the shields up.
The duelists went onto a balcony still attacking each other. Each knowing the outcome could change the future dramatically.
Twilight jumped of the balcony closely followed by celestia. They both landed on a beam and started to attack. But when the lightsabers clashed a huge pool of lava cut the beam's support cables making it drop into the lava river. both of the mares grabbed a cable as a rope to stay aboard the makeshift vessel heading towards a lava waterfall.
Twilight leaped off and landed upon a moving platform heading away from the drop. Celestia flipped off the beam and landed upon a droid's head.
"I have failed you Celestia," Twilight declared sadly "I have failed you."
"I should have known that the Jedi was planning to take over." Celestia countered.
"Celestia chancellor Discord is evil." Twilight said trying to reason with the former Jedi.
"From my point of view the Jedi are evil." Celestia said harshly in a monotone way.
"Then you are lost!" Twilight shouted.
Celestia flipped onto the platform and the duel continued. Twilight was standing her ground but Celestia was overpowering her. She had to think of something. Fast.
She flipped backwards and landed upon an embankment.
"It's over Celestia I have the high ground." Twilight declared.
"You underestimate my power." Celestia said ready to jump.
"Don't try it." Twilight said.
But Celestia didn't listen she flipped at twilight but lost her legs in the process. Only one front leg remained which she used to stop herself falling into the lava.
"YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!!! IT WAS SAID THAT YOU WOULD DESTROY THE SITH, NOT JOIN THEM!!! BRING BALANCE TO THE FORCE, NOT LEAVE IT IN DARKNESS!!!" Twilight sadly shouted at the now defenseless celestia.
"I hate you." celestia said not showing any remorse.
"you was like a sister," Twilight sobbed picking up Celestia's saber "I loved you."
Celestia caught on fire screaming in agony as twilight turned and left keeping herself composed. What she had done was for the good of equestria.
"Master sparkle please come quick," 3PO said seeing the Jedi returning "we have the senator aboard."
"Good work 3PO tell Artoo head for echo base." Twilight said to the droid. 3PO nodded and entered the cockpit.
"Twilight where is Tia?" Luna asked sounding weak.
"I couldn't help her." Twilight said as Luna fell asleep.
Twilight sat down next to 3P0. She held her head feeling the weight of what she had done.
*Discord's Office*
"Lord eclipse is in pain." Discord said as he felt his new apprentice screaming out in pain.
Two clones ran in to see what got the emperor shocked.
"Get my chariot ready and bring medics." Discord ordered.
"Yes sir right away." Both of them said in unison rushing off.
*Echo base*
"She's medically fine," The medic droid explained to the Jedi standing outside of the medical room that Luna lay in. "But for reasons we can't explain she is dying."
"Dying?" Twilight asked.
"She has seemed to lost the will to live," the droid explained "We have to work fast to save the babies."
"Babies?" Kaiber asked.
"She is carrying twins." the droid entering the room followed by twilight.
*Tarterous*
Discord found celestia or what was left of her. But he noticed something.
"She is still alive," He said chaotically "Get a medical capsule."
"Yes my Lord." the medic said.
*Echo base*
"It's a boy." Twilight said holding a baby Pegasus in her arms.
"Skywalker." Luna said crying seeing the Pegasus with the person who killed their mother.
Cadence came into the room looking at Luna with caring eyes. This was when the other baby was born. A girl.
"Organia." Luna sobbed see the new born unicorn passed to cadence.
Luna let out a sigh as she passed away. The Jedi left the room with respect followed by cadence.
Han was waiting outside saw the whole ordeal. It was pretty sad but he kept his cool. the others walked out the rooms holding babies.
"Senator, master Jedi." Han greeted.
"Captain solo." Cadence smiled.
"Han good to see you," Twilight said "So you want to help us."
"Yes twilight," Han replied "I've already started."
"What?" Cadence asked scowling.
"I went near the imperial armory what I found was shocking," Han explained rubbing his head " they are building what I call tie fighters and star destroyers destroyers."
"What are they?" Kaiber asked interested.
"New imperial weapons that are faster than chariots and deadly as a sarlac but I've out run them a lot." Han explained.
"So how do we beat them?" Twilight asked.
"The falcon and I've given your scientist blueprints for the X wing fighter, y wing bomber, b wing bomber, a wing interceptor and the rebel fleet from my universe." Han said smugly.
"Well I never so who will fly these ships?" Cadence asked shocked.
"Me and chewie and 3 others can fly the falcon," Han laughed "X wings are 1 man, y wing 2, b wing 1, a wing 1 or 2 depends the use of it."
"May I help the falcon." twilight asked smiling.
"Sure master Kaiber would you join us?" Han asked.
"I'm sorry Han I have to go into hiding," Kaiber said hanging his head low "Failed I have."
"Master Kaiber you don't have to hide," Han said "An old friend of my freind luke hide until he was 900 he was a Jedi as well the same as you but he trained luke to be the best jedi I know."
"What are trying to say?" Kaiber asked confused.
"I'm trying to say that these newborns are a new hope train them in the ways of the force," Han explained "When they are ready."
"How long is that?"
"19 Years." Han said.
"I'll take the I've always wanted to adopt a baby girl." Cadence notified.
"And what with the boy?" Twilight asked.
"Take him to his family you must." Kaiber said.
"Yes master." twilight said preparing to leave.
"Twilight wait," Kaiber said as the others left "Watch over the boy you must."
"Yes master." twilight noted.
"Training I have for you in your exile," Kaiber said "An old friend has contacted from the grave via the force."
"Who master?" Twilight asked.
"Your old master." Kaiber said.
"Rainbow." Twilight gasped.
"How to communicate with her I shall teach you." Kaiber said as he started to meditate. Twilight followed her seniors actions carefully. She then heard a voice. Dash.
"Hello twilight." She said appearing in front of her as a blue ghost "Told you I was becoming 20% cooler."
Twilight was shocked. She stood up followed by Kaiber.
"Alright dash looks like we got the prophecy wrong." he said rubbing his head.
"From a certain point of view we got it right," Dash said walking over to the other Jedi "Young skywalker is the missing peice we missed."
"What do you mean master?" Twilight asked.
"I mean either he's the chosen one or that Celestia will realise that her son is alive and her love will bring her back to the light," Rainbow explained "And Twilight you don't have to call me master anymore."
"Ok so we train the boy but if he fails to do either of these things what happens?" Kaiber asked.
"We train his sister both have midiclorian count higher than celestia's but they must never know who was their mother is and that they are siblings or all hope is lost."
"We shall take necessary caution during their training Rainbow." Twilight said. I'll even leave the alliance to make sure of their safety." Twilight replied.
"Into hiding I will go not getting involved unless it is the will of the force " Kaiber added.
"Twilight you must watch over the boy." Rainbow ordered.
"I will Dash I'll not let you down again." Twilight replied instantly.
Solar eclipse was strapped to a table of some sort. She was very badly burnt and deformed from her loss in tarterous. She saw discord enter wearing a black cloak which was quite menacing.
"Lord eclipse you are being given a new body," He said "One with a life support system that will keep you alive."
"Thank you master." celestia wheezed.
The droids around her started to attach the artificial limbs to her body. They was soon followed by a black leather suit which was filled with the life support equipment. The suit covered all of her body except for her face. This had a two part mask on part was a respirator. the other half covered her deformed face and worked as armor.
"Lord eclipse can you here me?" Discord asked.
"Yes master," Solar replied in a deep voice "Where is Luna?"
"It seems you killed her in your anger." He lied.
"She was alive I felt it!" Solar broke out of the restraints but crushed any droid trying to stop her.
Discord was smiling at this display. He caused this. He knew Celestia had an vision but he's just made it true. If she'd never turned the vision would never be true.
Celestia collapsed onto the floor and shouted. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
*the rebel base*
"Luna would've wanted it." Cadence said lighting the fire.
"It's the best we can do." Twilight agreed.
"She believed their is still good in her." Kaiber sighed.
"She's more machine than mare now." Twilight said sensing what is left of Celestia is still alive.
"Even so could she be tuned?" Cadence asked.
"Yes In my universe it happened." Han said joining the debate.
"How?" Twilight asked.
"Luke." Han simply said.
"Yeah that is your Jedi friend," Cadence retorted "What about him?"
"His father was a sith lord," Han said "By the name of Darth Vader, he died to save his son from the man who turned him."
"Did he know?" Kaiber asked worried.
"Yes it happened on the planet Bespin," Han confirmed "His teacher obi wan kenobi died the year before and he was being taught by Yoda the original grand master, but he saw a vision of a trap we entered and rushed to our aid even though Yoda advised against it."
"What happened?" Twilight asked interested.
"When he arrived I was trapped in carbonite and the others were captured," Han explained "Luke confronted Vader in lightsaber combat."
"I guess Vader won." Cadence guessed sarcastically.
"Yes but he didn't kill Luke," Han told the trio "Luke had his cut off and was hanging over a endless pit, it was gear Vader told Luke the truth about his father and showed obi wan was lying."
"So what did Luke do?" Twilight asked.
"Jump." Han said in severe seriousness.
"What how is he alive?" Cadence asked skeptical.
"He grabbed a satellite antenna," Han explained "Leia being his twin sensed he was in trouble and stole my ship to help him."
"And then they freed you." 3PO said appearing behind Han.
"Yes from Jabba the hut a gangster who I owed money to," Han laughed "But that was on the planet tatooine three years later."
"It took three years to rescue me." Cadence laughed.
"Yeah jabba was the kind of guy you don't usually mess with," Han explained "He had an army of bounty hunters but we killed him before we beet the empire."
"So it is possible." Twilight nodded.
"Well our version at least." Han finished.
"Well I'm taking Organia to the crystal empire." Cadence said.
"Time to take skywalker to the badlands where I shall train him." Twilight said.
"So the Jedi won't help us this time." Han said stroking his chin.
"Oh we will when my padowan is ready." Twilight replied.
"Ok see you in...." Han implied.
"16 years captain Solo." Twilight finished.
"Master Kaiber Artoo said that he should go with you so if we need you we can find you." 3PO said gesturing to the astromech.
"Sure I'll take Artoo he's been my friend since the start of the clone wars." Kaiber agreed mentioning the war that had Started the purge. Artoo bleeped joyfully but twilight looked upset. Her droid SPIKE was destroyed by the clone she nicknamed sunset.
"Well Han drop us too the badland wastes please." Twilight said to her freind.
"Ah my old hideout good choice." Han replied heading towards the hanger bay.
"Come on Artoo." Kaiber said following the other two. The droid rolled behind.
*Imperial command ship executor*
"Ah lord eclipse glad you can join us." Discord said standing on the bridge of the newly formed super star destroyer.
"What is thy bidding my master?" Solar asked going on one knee.
"This is your personal ship you'll use it to hunt down any threat to our empire." Discord said.
"Thank you master." Solar said standing up.
"Now we need to find the Jedi who escaped," Discord explained "Meet your personal assassin Tirek."
What celestia saw was the once dead centaur half cybernetic standing before her. She felt angry still that he had killed her freind Rainbow. So angry she ignited her new blade which was as red as the blood of her enemies and decapitated him.
"Good good you still show anger for the things that happened years ago," Discord congratulated "Twilight sparkle is doomed."
"The circle will be completed when her blood is on my saber." Solar said smiling evilly.
*The badland wastes*
"Goodbye Han good luck." Kaiber bowed to the captain.
"Goodbye guys hope you train him to be like Luke." Han said walking up the ramp into the Falcon.
"Rrraghrr r agar." chewbacca said 'let us not die'
"Us die your kidding." Han laughed taking off.
The two Jedi turned and watched the sunset ahead of them.
"I hope one day we can return the republic to it's former ways." Twilight said holding young skywalker in her arms.
"In time twilight," Kaiber said "In time."
*Crystal empire*
Cadence returned to her home. She was shocked to see how many clones filled the streets patrol after patrol walked by. all around dropships landed with full battalions coming out. When she reached her home she was stopped by a commander.
"What is the meaning of this?" She asked.
"Your filly seems to have a high midiclorian count mam," the clone said "We thought that you or she was a Jedi."
"Well i'm not nor is my filly," Cadence scowled "I want to be left alone so go somewhere else and assume."
"Yes ma'lady." the trooper said.
Cadence entered her home in a hurry locking the door as she went. She thought they knew about the alliance. That they knew about organia. Speaking of the child she was asleep on cadence's back.
"Organia why do I have a ad feeling about all this." She asked rhetorically.
The filly was just sleeping peacefully which made Cadence giggle somewhat. She was happy now that had somepony to care for. She also had a rebellion to run. It would be hard times ahead but she wasn't fazed by it.
"one day the republic shall return," She said to herself looking out over the sunset "One day all this will be set right."
As cadence finished her monologue she saw a flash from her waist.
"This is Senator Cadence who is it?" She asked into the holocom seeing the blue figure of twilight appear.
"Twilight don't worry senator skywalker is safe far away from the chancellor," Twilight said smiling "But Organia must know that you aren't her biological mother."
"WHAT?" Cadence half asked half screamed at twilight.
"If they think us as their parents they will get attached and if my calculations are correct," Twilight explained "If either of the two are the chosen one their feelings for us may effect the course of the future greatly."
"You have a point I shall tell her when she can understand." Cadence said.
"Thank you Senator." Twilight said hanging up. Cadence sighed as she entered the room she left Organia.
"Why oh why did this happen to me?" she laughed rhetorically looking at her adopted daughter.
*Badlands*
"Thank you senator." Twilight said hanging up.
"You did well master sparkle," Kaiber said holding a sleeping skywalker.
"What are we going to tell him?" Twilight asked.
"That his mother was betrayed by Darth eclipse who was a pupil of yours at the time," Kaiber started "She turned to the dark side of the force and killed her disgracefully a tragic end for a great hero."
"That is a believable story but what if he confronts Celestia?" Twilight said stroking her head confused.
"We shall pass that obstacle when it comes," Kaiber said taping the younger Jedi on the shoulder "Now our reason for taking care of the boy."
"Aunt Twilight and Uncle Kaiber." Twilight replied.
"That is alright but we may want to change our names," Kaiber said smiling "Aunt Dawn and uncle obi wan."
"That is fine with me." Twilight agreed.
"Well let us start this exile," Kaiber said "Your lightsaber please."
Twilight nodded and handed hers and Celestia's old saber to Kaiber. When he saw it the look upon his face was disappointed.
"Why didn't you kill her?" Kaiber asked.
"I couldn't bring myself to do it," Twilight sobbed "She was like a sister and a good freind"
Kaiber nodded in agreement "If it was me i wouldn't off." He said tapping her on the shoulder.
"Kaiber why Obi Wan i get why my name would be dawn as another thing with time," Twilight said completely changing the subject "Was it the name of an old freind?"
"Well kinda it is the name of the man who taught Luke," Kaiber explained "I figured young skywalker should be taught by another obi wan kenobi."
"Oh ok then." twilight said taking a step inside.
Kaiber stared into the sunset with skywalker on his back. He seemed to be most happy in the calm and the quiet. Nothing could've stopped what discord had done. The dark side was back and in full force. literally. Kaiber knew that training the son of the ex-chosen one will be hard. Celestia was beyond help or so he thought twilight had agreed but Luna thought there was good in her.
"Skywalker time to go inside." Kaiber said as the sun fully set on the republic and letting the moon rise on the empire.
