Rainbow Dash lives an exciting life and is swiftly becoming the most daring, awesome pegasus in all of Equestria. She would gladly give it all up, though, just to confess her love to Applejack.
Rainbow Dash woke up, gasping.
The tingle in her limbs had spread to her neck in a rush, and she felt every warm droplet of sweat trickling down her body.
Dull gray light wafted in through the windows, signifying a sleepy morning.
Rainbow Dash trembled. She brushed her hooves over her face and muzzle, sighing.
Silence.
Using her wings for leverage, she propped herself up, standing amidst haphazardly arranged furniture in the foyer. Her dull ruby eyes lingered on the material. She reached out and—with half-hearted effort—attempted moving an empty dresser.
She couldn't get it to budge an inch.
The mare glanced at her hooves once again. If her eyes were shut, she'd have almost no idea that they were lingering in front of her.
Rainbow's ears folded back as she pivoted about and glided towards the bedroom.
After a bit of fumbling, Rainbow Dash managed to slip on a saddlebag. Using her teeth, she grabbed her satchel of Las Pegasus bits and slid them into a side-pocket.
She was about to leave—when she caught a flicker of blue coat hairs. She lingered in place, squinting ahead.
The alicorn goblet lingered on the edge of the last dresser left in her room. It reflected Rainbow's lethargic face until she was tired of looking at it.
Clearing a lump in her throat, Rainbow finally wrenched her eyes from the object...
...and left the house, gliding towards Everfree Forest.

Phew she's still got the bits. Time to head to Zecora's for a few stamina regen potions.
Yeah, you need medicine, PRONTO. Still, I wonder when her friends are going to start realizing her moving out?
Imagine I'm a Sim.
Now imagine I have an Epcot bar.
Now imagine that it's low.
Feeling guilty about how you treated Epcot Dash?
Maybe take some time to apologize before you move.
Alas, poor Rainbow Dash. Hopeully the medicine will atleast make the physical strain lighter.

Okay, that's a better sign. Progress is key, Dashie, and you've made precious little of it throughout the story. Every step forward is followed by a hop, skip and a jump backwards. Let's just.... Skip the hopping, skipping and jumping this time, yeah?

I wasn't surprised, but only because I kept noticing the increase in verbal abuse. I didn't expect it to come so suddenly, mind, but I had an inkling of what was to come. A first for this story, I think! Normally I'm left in a flurry of blue feathers and sadness, but this time... This time I wished I was wrong.
She really needs to apologize to Epcot.
Medicine is good, but hopefully she talks to Epcot again someday too. I liked that crazy program.
7289385 Yes. She does.
I hope Dash isn't planning on leaving Epcot behind... She'll need someone to keep her company where ever she's planning on going.
So we've got a Dash who's committed to moving on from AJ, is depressed again, and is planning on moving away from everyone to try and find herself again. Quite the depressing start to this arc, but par for the course I suppose
Those potions Zecora makes won't last her forever, her condition is already getting worse. I will not be surprised if the 'miracle treatment' is no longer as effective as before, bringing her right back to this same point much sooner. I will be surprised, however, if JE continues to use these potions as an excuse for Rainbow to keep ignoring this without any repercussions (having to take more of the potion each time, or more frequent dosing, side effects, etc).
There's only so long before the 'It's magic, I ain't gotta explain jack' reasoning for 100% magical effectiveness ends up leaving us wondering 'Well if Dash has basically a perfectly effective medicine... why even have this condition at all?' It's not really necessary for the story at that point, beyond giving Rainbow a tragic past, which could still be done with everything minus her having the same condition. She has had so much uptime that this condition barely affects her when it has always been painted as being something much more serious than it has been. We're past 1 million words of Dash kicking all sorts of butt and only a small, tiny fraction of that has even mentioned this in any sort of negative light.
To TL:DR this whole business: I really hope JE has a plan for her illness to actually have a purpose in the story other than just character fluff, and that we'll get to see something of it soon. It's getting to the point where Dash is getting to video game levels of 'let me drink this potion real quick and I'll be all ready for the fight'. Which is fine, I suppose, because we get to see Dash headbutt her way through more awesome adventures. However, we are no closer to getting to see this version of Dash develop and deal with her unique life situation JE has created for this story.

Probably long after she's gone, they haven't really been all that proactive about spending time with Dash as it is. Unless she does something soon to let them know she's moving, they probably will just think she's 'out' again until it's too late to do anything about it. Fluttershy seems to know something is wrong with Dash though.

Someone in the story (Listing?) mentioned recently that the "medicine" needs bigger and bigger dozes for the same effect, which combined with the high price and Rarity of the materials means in the end it will be impossible to use the potion indefinitly. That is ignoring the hallucinogic effect of bigger doses.
