Pony Things On My Mind · 1:40pm
1. I'm enjoying the "Of Age" comment section lately. It's ridiculously fun to read the different theories getting thrown around. Some of you are closer to the truth than others in what will eventually happen, but I won't say who so I don't spoil anything. I'll just say that I'm not a grand master of surprise in my writing, but I hope I might manage to throw at least a few curveballs at you all yet. We shall see.
2. If that blue-haired guy in Equestria Girls isn't meant to be Shining Armor and is actually meant as a love interest, I'm going to have to question the art director's design decisions and the casting director's voice decisions. Making his hair "spiky" isn't going to take away the fact that Brad is Shining's caucasian doppelganger. Seriously, I wouldn't actually care if Twilight gets a love interest. I WOULD care if they made her love interest look and sound like her brother. Thus, I can only hope that the hug in the trailer is a Friendship Hug.
3. I really want Season 4 (why oh why is it still so far away? *sob*). I want the adventures of Alicorn Twilight. I know many aren't a fan of this, but I am, and I want these adventures NOW. (Cue Apple Bloom.) I think this concept has a TON of potential for epic-ness. BRING ON TWILICORN.
4. On that note, just to clarify again: "Of Age" was conceived and initially drafted before Season 3 began. Therefore, in this fic, Twilight is still just a unicorn. Don't expect her to start flying around.
5. I'm not a big comic book person. However, I am a big Pony person. Are the comic books worth reading? Looking for opinions here.

>>449782 Why, thank you.
I'm getting back to it now, so you should see more of it soon!
How goeth the story Of Age, as I'm a huge fan and your writing is fantastic!
>>374622 It's semi sci-fi, targeted towards 10-12 year-old readers. Adventure, thrills, sacrifice, all sorts of (hopefully) interesting stuff.

I always make it a point to support brony professionals. That you're a great author putting out a book is just icing. Can I at least have a hint on what it's about?

I may do some private messaging down the line when my book does come out, for people who really want to know. However, just be prepared, it doesn't have a date set yet which likely means another year (or maybe even two!) before it's out. Things are progressing slowly right now.
So, question: I know you said its unprofessional for a published author to have fanfiction, which is why you won't tell us about the book, but then how are we supposed to know when its out, where to buy it? We want to support you, but how will we find out how?
>>362781 Hah. Well, I'm glad it worked out for you. Thanks for reading and watching!
Fun fact: you were the first person on Fimfiction I watched, and it was by mistake as I was trying to 'watch' your fic How to Woo Your Lady in Nine Easy Steps.
No regrets.
>>348367 No worries! It's hard to keep track of usernames (at least, it is for me). And thanks for commenting on my new story, and for the thoughtful critique.
Decided to check out your page after reading 'Ladies Don't Freak Out', figured I'd check what else you'd written seeing as your name seemed familiar. Then I saw you'd written How to Woo and Of Age, two stories I really like.
I feel kind of stupid that I didn't recognise your name now.
