Fed up with her sister's busy schedule, Sweetie Belle vents her frustrations about Rarity to their parents which prompts a story that leaves the young filly curious. Meanwhile, Rarity, deeply affected by her younger siblings words, goes into a deep reflection about how and why she came to be in Ponyville.

It's always been a dream of Rarity's to get invited to the Regal Customs Ball, now that the time has come her only available escort is Applejack. After some prominent persuasion and training, Applejack and Rarity become the Belles of the Ball, but once it's over, Applejack isn't so sure that she wants to go back to being the country mare she once was.

Rainbow Dash sinks into a state of depression after blowing her chance to win Equestria's Best Young Flyer Competition for the third time in a row. Nopony has been able to cheer her up for the past three weeks. However, a young, not so strong flyer is determined to do whatever it takes to get her heroine out of her slump.

After weeks and weeks of convincing, Rarity finally decides to take a day off and ride a roller coaster with her friends, but what ends up happening on the ride is something nopony could've ever predicted.

After saving Ponyville from a near death experience, Twilight sits down and has a heart to heart with her very first friend from Canterlot.

Applejack and Rarity's relationship suffers a serious set back when a familiar colt pops up around Ponyville. A simple lie. Hurtful words. A planned trip to Fillydelphia, and an amazing emotional analysis from the last pony you would expect.
