Hey, everyone, how are you doing? Maybe I shouldn't have asked that at the beginning of the post, since there's no way for me to know how you are doing before I upload this. And upload this I shall, even though it might not make a damn lick of sense!

Several factors are at play in this blog post, and I figured I would get it out of the way while I feel like it.

First and foremost, the biggest and most obvious factor is (insert drumroll): Boredom!

That's right, I am fucking bored right now and I needed something to do! Why am I doing this instead of focusing my energy on something productive right now, like my school work? I'm not doing that because that would be a smart thing to do, and if you know me, I am not a smart guy. Next factor.

And the silver cup goes to: I wanted to write!

You might've guessed that from the title of the entry, or you have a really dirty mind. You don't have a dirty mind, do you? Hey, you can tell me! I won't judge you! In fact, I will tell you a little secret that you all can't tell anyone. The reason I'm writing this in a blog entry and not in a Word doc like I normally do is because I wanted to have a little chat with all of you. No super reasons why. Can't a guy just chillax and talk? I'd like to think I can.

A good question that I can think of when I see this factor is: "ObCom, if you wanted to write, why can't you throw yourself into your fanfics?"

And a good question that would be! Thing is, I looked at the Word doc for "When We Fall" just the other day... and right now as I'm writing this. I can see the tab just staring at me to do something with it. I think the fic is going to take my wife and children hostage if I don't complete it please call the cops but don't tell me that I snitched it has a gun on me.

But yeah, about that. I seem to have written myself into a bit of a clusterfuck. When I write and upload stuff, I don't like putting out parts that are under 1,000 words. There's nothing WRONG with doing that, mind you, it's just that I feel like that's kind of snubbing the readers. As the story stands now, I have three separate parts all under the Part 4 label. Two of them mesh, the other doesn't, but if I scrap the one that doesn't mesh then I'm afraid that the story would be too far along to go back to the stuff that is going on in it and yeah. As it turns out, thinking is my nemesis with that story.

If you are watching me for another fic, like "Exiled Unto Dawn" (why haven't I changed that title yet) or, for some reason, "The Summer Writings," then I guess you can have more optimistic news. Exiled has a much clearer timeline and presentation than WWF, but for some reason I just never get around to writing it. And that's a shame, because I truly enjoy writing Exiled. It's fun, it's snippets, and I love putting my own twist on the setting. I'm gonna open that document right now.

If you're along for "Summer Writings," I have bad news for you because the story has been listed as cancelled since I uploaded it. How do you people even find it? Don't get me wrong, I love that people are reading my stuff, but... HOW do you find THAT story? The amount of people asking me to continue writing that story is just astounding.

Are those the only factors? Of course not! What's number three? Let me tell you!

Third place winner goes tooooooooooooooooooooo: Beer!

I'm not an alcoholic, don't judge me. I happened to buy some beer the other day, and I know how most of my blog entries are written with me telling you all that I'm imagining us with a fire and just shooting the shit. I might be completely alone in my room and my Skype is silent, but the room is warm and I even lit a candle, so it's all one step closer to the fantasy, eh?

I'm getting to that point of the entry where I make less sense than when I started, but that's fine with me. I'm also not drunk, so don't even think about pinning this all on the drink. Yes, drink. One. I'm fine. You could trust me to do open heart surgery right now but don't because I am a writer not a doctor.

It just hit me. This whole post could have been much shorter than it is now. Oh well. In for a penny, in for a pound, said someone, somewhere. I'm gonna go look at Exiled now, but don't expect anything to come of it. School will probably keep me super busy and I might be picking up a part-time job soon. That sounds bad, but I need money. I want to buy things. I want to go to places. You know that feel, right bro?
