An origin story from my own head, how the bat ponies came to be and what their role in Equestria really is.

May be a precursor to a full story, I'm not sure yet, but it just came to me a few days ago and I had to write it down. Enjoy!

Diamond Tiara has long since been a thorn in the sides of the Cutie Mark Crusaders with her constant teasing. When Applebloom learns a secret about her how will she react and what lengths will she go to?

After a series of nightmares an urgent letter summons Twilight to Canterlot but the reason is far from what she expected. As she is introduced to a secret that has been kept hidden for centuries how will the new princess respond and will her dreams allow her the choice to begin with?

What would you do if you lost sight of your life? Literally? This piece explores that event.

[Author Notes: A short piece I wrote up this afternoon whilst searching for inspiration for my other works. I don't plan on continuing it unless there is a overwhelming request to do so. Just a short little piece with feels.]

Applejack has always been a pony everypony could rely on, honest, hard working and reliable. But can she be honest with herself?

When Rainbow Dash wakes up tired one morning little does she know that her life is about to be turned upside down. When she discovers the truth she is left with a very difficult decision to make that will affect the rest of her life. Should she focus only on her needs or does she take a wider view and possibly sacrifice everything she has worked so hard to achieve. Should she listen to her friends? What will they think of her when she finally decides?

During one of Rarity's many visits to Canterlot she begins to find herself questioning if the life she dreams of is the one she really wants. What caused this change of heart? What could come between Rarity and the life she has always wanted? Will she be willing to give it all up to help a single pony in her hour of need and in turn what will this pony do for her? Will she return the feelings that Rarity shows or simply walk away?

Author note: This story is set just after series 3 ends as such the events of season 4 do not have any bearing on it, think of it as an alternate reality.
