It seems I'm not capable of writing a bio without sounding really pretentious, so I'll keep it simple.I write pony-fanfiction. That is all.
By science, what I mean is writing. It feels like it's been 457 years since I produced anything, Something that isn't related to spiders, that is. My life of late has primarily consisted of spending time with my fantastic girlfriend, working, and ignoring the fact that my laptop has the computational power of a walrus.
I'm typing on my phone (which is quite a feat on this website, as it happens), so I'll be brief. You may have heard about the crazy shit that went down at Unicon, what with people getting screwed out of significant amounts of money. I want to help with the relief fund, and I think I found a way.
Societal norms tell us that making a habit of getting drunk alone is the first step to becoming an alcoholic. Conventional wisdom tells us that drinking while depressed or excessively emotional is a recipe for disaster. And good old fashioned common sense tells us that drinking alone while depressed is the second fastest way to end up in the emergency room (the fastest is to eat Taco Bell).
For those of you that complained about the pacing (and a few other elements of this story), you are all 100% accurate. I agree that the pacing was ridiculously fast. However, I have an excuse! A legitimate one, in fact.
Look at me go, posting things almost two months after the fact. In any case, watch and LOL at me and my fellow panelists.

No, I'm so fucking serious right now. I fucking love spiders. When I'm an eccentric billionaire, I will pay a team of scientists to genetically engineer a three foot wide, sentient spider. I will name him Steve and he will ride on my back like a knapsack. Steve and I will go everywhere together, and he'll be able to walk around anywhere he wants. He won't even need a leash, he'll be so well behaved.
I can't tell if the image is broken (I'm typing from my phone), but I'm writing this from an (unnervingly empty) San Diego commuter train on my way to DISNEYLAND.
