Over a millennium ago, a young Starswirl the Bearded sought to make a name for himself by creating doorways to other worlds. His work saw him receiving the help of Silver Scepter, a renowned artificer that he would grow very close to throughout their time working together. However, following his self-banishment to Limbo, not many were around to know of what happened to his beloved.

Now in the modern day, with his wanderlust sated, Starswirl has returned to Canterlot and his workshop within the catacombs of the city. Here, he uncovers a journal revealing a lifetime of details regarding the first world that they opened a portal to with a note attached reading, "Love, Silver Scepter." Wrought with strife of his negligence, he now asks that Twilight and her friends go on one final adventure to discover what happened to the mare and possibly set foot into the mysterious world of 'Terra' for the last time before it is lost to Equestria forever.

This story is a sequel to Crystal Maiden

It has been almost twenty-five years since Amber Lily was left at Ponyville Orphanage by her father. In that time, she has left the orphanage, adopted her two best friends, became a nurse, and made the best friends a pony could ask for.

Also in that time, a stallion named Herb has had time to mourn his lost wife and the separation from his daughter, as well as finally accomplish something he had wished to do two decades earlier.

Now - twenty-five years later - Herb's travels have finally brought him back to the town where his daughter lives, with hopes to salvage his relationship with her and let her rest easy on a subject of her deepest sorrows.

Amber Lily is a mare currently doing nurse work around the country and caring for her best friends, Hot Head and Lucky Star. She was in an orphanage with them for the longest time, however one thing has always managed to barely slip under the radar; why she's there at all.

Isis Quartz, Amber's mother, was one of the Crystal Empire's many great wonders. An entertainer of hundreds, if not thousands, with her jousting matches, she was a high-tier citizen below only royalty itself.
Unfortunately, she is dead. She died of a disease not well known to the populace, leaving behind her husband and their daughter to figure out what to do next.

At some point in a pony's life, they will come to terms with the fact that they are afraid of something. As a foal, it could be that they are afraid of the dark or being away from their mother for so long. In adolescent years, they could become anxious about becoming social outcasts or being looked down upon by peers. Even well past adulthood, they could still be afraid of heights or certain animals.

The point being; Ponies are scared. No matter what, something will scare you, and if not; well, you still probably strongly dislike something, so you could still be considered phobic.

These are the clinical notes taken from Ponyville; documented to note the mental stability and reassurance of various celebrities and public icons, and to make sure a mysterious citizen can help purge them from his own ancestor's creation.

Cancelled due to a general loss of how to push the story's main idea forward.
