To amuse myself, I rewrote the conspiracy rant from Kiwi Farms' owner Joshua Moon (source: Kotaku) into a ponified feel-good newspaper article.
Enjoy!

While helping another author edit their story, I came up with an alternative idea for how their character reached Equestria. They ended up not using it, so I'm reposting it here. I may have borrowed some of it from Machinations of a Trickster by Deviance and mixed it with a little from an episode of Stargate: SG-1 and The Magicians

I had this idea to ponify an old Flash animation (now a YouTube video, available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guUnErBM5Bc ).
This is what I came up with. Maybe if I put in a little more work, I could easily build this story up with more words to meet the 1000-word minimum and submit this as a story.

Finally made it to lucky number thirteen. For some reason, I prefer and have absolutely no trouble writing introductions. But when it comes down to actually doing more than that, I don't know... Maybe I just don't like seeing things complete. Maybe some deep seeded fear of absolute finality, of closure. Who knows, really?
I let a friend read it over to get his opinion. He said it was really dark.
Anyway, here's the thing.
I think that this is the last bit of the story I have written that I'm willing to spoil.

Sometimes I think I can write, then I try. This is one of those trying times.

It was all too much for me. If I didn't get out of here soon I might just go insane. Or more sane, I'm not too sure anymore. I looked on into the yelling and chaos. It was either they had to go or i did and I didn't have any way of communicating with them, let alone convince them. Taking nothing, I left the bakery.
Sometime I write things. Half-formed ideas that rattle around in my head until they pour out like so much sand. Things not long enough to be stories on their own. This is one of those things.

The following is my own personal list of the most detested, bemoaned gripes and tropes I have found, and even some ways to avoid them, while reading stories here on FIMFiction. Your mileage may vary. They are things I intend to include, or avoid, while I struggle to write my own narrative.
I'm currently helping edit a Fallout Equestria story, when this idea popped into my head. I came up with to keep the writers story inline with the FoE Universe, but he steadfastly refuses to take any suggestions. So, here it is. The entire idea in point form. Mostly an introduction. Maybe you can squeeze two or three chapters out of it if you're a good writer. I'm offering this up on a first-come-fist-serve basis. If you want to use it, make your claim in the comments below!
[Slice of life], [Comedy], [one shot], [Rainbow Dash], [OC]
It's your dream come true, Rainbow Dash has finally agreed to go on a date with you and it's tonight!
What could possibly go wrong?
Well, for starters, on your way there you got hit by a flying chariot and died.
And things only go down hill from there.
But you won't let a little thing like death stop you from having a romantic evening with your favorite pegasus.
