Back in November, I got moved to another job within my company, and for a couple of months that was going pretty well. Then, at the end of January, I got a promotion to terminal manager, which is requiring me to pack up and move a couple of hundred miles away while commuting back and forth each week in the interim.

It may seem like a long while between updates, but this is really the only way I can maintain a schedule, and have a decent buffer to maintain that schedule. My work has been in flux, and I am adapting to a new schedule, but it shouldn't affect anything going forward.

Thanks to those that are reading and following along, and I hope I can continue to provide a good quality story for you.

As I had mentioned previously, I was waffling over whether to publish a story I had been working on over here. I've had a few people read it, and it seems to be going over okay, with some minor corrections and edits.

The first chapter is in the pipeline and will go live shortly. I plan to update on a monthly schedule, and I have a decent buffer written to aid me in that goal.

Last month, I underwent a full chest CT and a colonoscopy as part of the joys of getting old. The results of both are in.

The chest CT was clear, amazingly enough, even after being a hard-core smoker since the age of ... 11, I think I was, and not quitting until 10 years ago this past February. The colonoscopy found two small polyps (small meaning under 4 mm) and the biopsy on those came back benign.

So, the good news is, nothing in my body is imminently going to kill me.

Both tests are done.

Don't know the results of the first one, but haven't heard anything at all so I'm guessing no news is good news.

Second one found a couple small somethings, but they were small. I doubt it's anything but I'll wait for the biopsy to confirm. Should only take a week or two.

Some of you may have read my last story and are seriously concerned about my health status, physical and mental. I suspect a greater portion read it and couldn't give a shit either way, and more still never bothered to read it at all. This blog post is primarily for the first group I mentioned.
