At some point in time after 'Chapter Eleven - Nopony Think About Draconequui' was released I seem to recall that I said Chapter Twelve would be split up into four parts, and when finished, they would be released a few weeks from each other, so for a brief moment in time, we could all pretend that DECEPTION updated like a regular story (... and because I figured an increased frequency in updates could have gotten it to more easily snatch a spot in the Featured Box).

I think you guys have waited long enough for the next update of DECEPTION, so Brian and I talked it over and agreed that it would be best to once again split up the next entry to the story into separate chapters.

The now smaller chapter nine will be about seventeen thousand words, and will be solely focused on Spike and Avarice. Plus it also features the most artsy and risque moment that we've written in this entire story. I'll try to have it up around five in the afternoon, EST.
