I think you guys have waited long enough for the next update of DECEPTION, so Brian and I talked it over and agreed that it would be best to once again split up the next entry to the story into separate chapters.
The now smaller chapter nine will be about seventeen thousand words, and will be solely focused on Spike and Avarice. Plus it also features the most artsy and risque moment that we've written in this entire story. I'll try to have it up around five in the afternoon, EST.
But hey, if you think it isn't a chapter unless in breaks the 20,000 word mark, we've got more good news on that matter. Since we're dividing blocks we've written into different entries again, chapter ten won't take as long to release. That one already has about thirteen thousand words written for it, and only has about two or three scenes left that need to be finished before it gets posted. You can expect that one in a few weeks. I guarantee it won't take more than another month. (In fact, after this entry, I'm going to go write some more on it.)
Sorry for making you guys wait so long. Here's hoping waiting one more day won't kill you.
