This story is a sequel to Dark Road: The Ruins of the Everfree

Rarity, the feared owner of The Traveling Masquerade, was traveling towards Ponyville when suddenly one of her guests gets murdered. This cannot be tolerated, she must figure out who the killer is before they arrive, else her reputation is destroyed!

Do I even need to say it at this point? Inspired by a card in the board game, Merchants of the Dark Road.

Burnt Oak has been wandering. His log business is decent but slow and thus he needs to travel to other towns to sell his logs. That's where he met her.

Torch Song has been wandering. Working with the Pony Tones certainly has brought her everywhere and her ability to sing was the key. That's where she met him.

Welcome to Neo-Canterlot, the year is 3046 AD, and the world is in shambles. Technology runs rampant across cities and organizations, leaving the poor dwellers to the dirty and grimy streets. It certainly is the best place in the world!

The not so peace and the not so quiet gets interrupted by a bank robbery so impossible, the government is left baffled. Follow the EIB as they interview the suspects to get the story.

Rainbow 'Danger' Dash is a Skirmisher, and recently she's heard of this unexplored Ruins deep in the Everfree forest. Of course she's going to go! She's Rainbow 'Danger' Dash! She just need to find a crew.

Still inspired by the board game, Merchants of the Dark Road. Specifically the Ruins of Yin.

The world has been dark for a millennia and Nightmare Moon has reigned. Merchants have been travelling the dangerous roads to deliver heroes and messages to those in need. Today is just another day in Pinkie Pie's career.

Today was the day. Gravel Patch took a deep breath in and then let it out. Today he was going to do it, the heist he's been planning for for months. A quick double check later just to confirm he had everything he will ever need, then grinned. Today was going to be his!

This story came to be because of a Quills and Sofas Speedwriting contest.

Vinyl Scratch, private investigator, gets called in when a stallion dies under suspicious circumstances. It is up to her and her new partner, Octavia, to figure out who the killer is and maybe even solve the corruption surrounding the Canterlot Elite.

Follow these two mares as they face trials and tribulations that test their resolve and pride. The waters here are muddy, they need to tread carefully or else they get dirty themselves. Can they do it?
