Just in case it's not clear, I don't have editors or pre-readers or anything like that. So I am posting the chapters after I write them, with just the first pass review done.

As time goes on, I frequently re-read the older chapters to ensure I'm staying more or less on course. During these re-reads I will often correct errors or clarify text to make it a little more readable... so you can treat the initial posting as a rough draft which will be enhanced as time goes on.

Unfortunately this story wasn't voted to top of my todo list, so I'm just working on it when I need distraction ;)

I have had a hard time fitting writing into my schedule.

But, I took a vacation block next month, and it's my goal to use most of that time to sit in a coffee shop and write bad MLP fanfic. Wish me luck! ;)

The challenge has been actually finding time to write - sorry about that. ;) Will get back to it soon.

Here's the first chapter. I don't expect this story to be anywhere near the length of the first one, but maybe. I see it as a series of shorter stories. The important bit is unlike the first book, all the major plot points of this one are written down.

No promises on speed, but hey, comments are motivating ;)

I don't think anyone's holding their breath, but, I've been leaning more and more to actually attempting the sequel to Night Reigns.

I am actually considering picking up the Night Reigns sequels... they'd take forever to get done, but they could be done shorter and just might be fun. I have lots of notes written down but really, I'm just stuck on choosing which element to send Sunset after... ;)

I've just finished my third (and probably final) pass through this story. Every chapter got updated (fortunately some chapters didn't get much, so that's promising!)

I've finished my first pass through the entire story and uploaded the improved text -- the changes cover hundreds of little points in every chapter. Some punctuation, some grammar, deleted some minor unnecessary text and slipped a little more explanation of later events into the earlier chapters. It flows a little better.
