After Shining Armour and Cadence's wedding went about as well as you'd expect it to, the two, Twilight, their parents and there in-laws are sitting together at Joe's Donuts and the subject of 'how Velvet and Nightlight's wedding went almost/just as bad/worse than this one' comes up and they start telling the story.

The last 3 stories where definitely 'romantic' comedies but this is more of a romantic drama and was inspired in it's entirety by a single throwaway line from a random episode of Scrubs.

Set shortly after Pinkie Pie got her Cutie Mark, this story follows her over the course of a few years as she meets her first best friend, a buffalo she nicknames Bysen. Wait don't leave! I know it sounds like an self OC shipfic and... it kinda is. But it goes off in a different direction than you'd expect.

This was written before season 4. This means that Pinkie's family hadn't been fleshed out yet. Specifically that Maud didn't exist yet and that Pinkie's family was named by the fandom after the ghosts from Pacman: Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde, and that they were Amish...ish. And Bonnie and Clyde was my personal touch.
In fact you can still google those names followed by pie and they'll show up [except Bonnie].

After the last year's failed prank, Cadence sets up a revenge prank on Shining Armour with Twilight and Chrysalis. Surely things will go better this year and no one will double cross each other again... or maybe getting double crossed would be better than what actually happens.

The Mane 6 sit down and start to play Truth or Dare. But there's a few things that need to be clarified first. Like all the rules for example. Truth or Dare... seems pretty straight forward right? Wrong.

She meets an excitable but not entirely mental there [implied special ed] girl named Fluffle Puff. Then things just get annoying as Fluffle Puff never leaves her alone for the rest of the day.

Cadence has been Twilight's sitter for quite some time and has grown quite close to the ten year old in that time. Though she's grown pretty close to her brother too and after telling Twilight she's dating Shining Armour, Cadence and Twilight get in an argument over who Shining loves more. Knowing they'd never get a straight answer out of him, they recruit Chrysalis, Shining's ex girlfriend to force an answer out of him. And zaniness ensues...

Lyra always loved the way her hand danced across the keys of her piano, her fingers jumping from one to another in a perfect seething of chorus and melody. By the age of 13 she had already played in front of a crowd of thousands and was by all means a prodigy in her art. Now, it's been three years since she lost her arm in a tragic accident and has been dealing with depression ever since, unable to get past what she'd lost.
One day in physical therapy she meets a girl roughly her own age named Bon-bon and though the two don't really say much beyond hello at first, the two eventually become the best of friends. But both of them still have their issues and will need one another to hopefully one day get past them.

We use the fact that everyone here knows what the characters look like to skip over giving any physical description beyond anything that differs with our own head canon.
I didn't describe Lyra at all but you know what she looks like. Screw it, Lyra's black!

I got this idea a few months back when the 'exclusive preview' short came out showing Fluttershy wanting to play her hippy songs that I can only assume would be about small animals, trees, sunshine and rainbows, whereas RD plays some much heavier metal. But I never wrote it... until now.
