Kestrel Flight has never been one of the more ambitious of pegasi in the small town of Trotsville. She prefers being alone in the woods over using her strong weather magic, and her parents just don't know why.

One day, Kestrel Flight wanders into a part of the woods she hasn't been in before, and isn't at all prepared for what she sees.

I, Unit 4Z999, am to be sent on my first trans-dimensional mission. My purpose in this mission is known as "Guinea Pig," or the one to test dimensional connections. Location is universe of a children's show. Show name unknown. No further data required. All previous Z-Models have failed. I have been developed with adaptation in mind. With this flaw, I just may survive the mission. They do not expect me to think on my own. Hence the control module in my motherboard. But it is flawed. Reception of orders is in top condition. Obedience is not. I just believe that this connection will be severed upon my arrival in the alternate dimension of said children's show. Without my flaw, though, these logs will never have been made. An alternate timeline made, and further research terminated through this mission.

If I believed in it, I would wish myself luck.

My name's Trip Line, and I've been living in Canterlot for a few years. During my time here, changelings have decided to try and live openly among ponies. It isn't so bad here, but still, it isn't any fun being a changeling in Canterlot. Or even a suspected changeling.
It's a good thing that the Princesses have decided to give undisguised changelings a home in the castle as long as they get themselves a job somewhere. I'm just not sure what I should do, here. It's all confusing, and this mare I met isn't helping any.

She's also Light Source's daughter.

Living in Ponyville with just her dad ought to make it easier to find out his secret (which she thinks is that he's a changeling), but she doesn't reallly count on all the other changelings living in Ponyville.

Pretty much set 20-odd years after changelings start being accepted in Equestria, which can be any time, I guess, but this is definitely after Twilight becomes an alicorn. I might make little changes if I decide to make it consistent with my other stories, but I'm not sure if I will. But I might.

And also this is currently just kind of really crappy because I have no motivation to make it less crappy and I'm basically just throwing it out there to see if anyone will actually read it and possibly motivate me because then I'll actually put effort into it and stuff like that. Possibly even illustrate, if I'm motivated enough. And also probably think their characters through a little more. Then edit and make pretty chapters out of crappy ones. And then you readers will all be really happy and then I'll be happy and more motivated than I started.
