Something happened on that day when Nightmare Moon blocked out the sun, or so the story goes. It did something to a group of ponies, scattered all over he country. They had all disappeared by the time the sun returned, leaving destruction in their wake. More recently, there have been signs of some strange, unknown creatures rampaging villages in the countryside. Are the stories just rumours after all?

The world is plunged in darkness. The town of Ponyville is no more, taken over by the Everfree. Other small villages have been taken over by various curses and creatures. Only the larger cities are safe, relatively speaking.

Various inhabitants, including the surviving few of the elements of harmony, have decided to fight back against the encroaching evil.

What would happen if Twilight Sparkle was exposed to the corrupting influence of dark magic? This question is answered when Twilight finds a spellbook in an old library in the Crystal Empire palace. The spells within begin to corrupt Twilight with the want of knowledge. Can she resist?

Hearts and Hooves day, the one day a year the changelings can relish due to the fact it is a veritable banquet for them, laid out everywhere you cn find a pony village or town. Only one problem, some ponies are lonely and are on the lookout for possible partners. When these two events cross, one would think the changeling would be delighted. But what if they bit off more than they could chew?

Trixie Lulamoon has not been having the best of luck with her shows recently, bringing her to a point of just wanting to give up. However, one fateful night, Trixie starts to hear a voice speaking to her. This voice helps to teach Trixie how to sing, saying that he only wishes to help her.

When Twilight Sparkle is walking around her castle, a book seems to materialize in front of her. After reading through it, she finds the rules and instructions to a fun looking card game. She invites her friends over that night for a friendly competition. This is where our story begins.

During the games, each paragraph represents one turn. I will be linking a gallery of all the new cards at some points. In a short while after the update for each chapter, I will add in a list of all the cards used.

The Kingdom of the Stars, currently ruled over by king Zodius, has been forgotten by the ponies of Equestria since before the parents of the current Equestrian monarchs. This kingdom, in a place where no matter what, the sun does not shine, has been scouring larger and larger areas, and when the king has a report of another civilisation, he ponders on the thought. When the Polaris Festival occurs, the king decides to invite some of the inhabitants of this new civilisation to come visit.
