I'm glad that you like my writing style with 'Pen Pals' and I always strive to keep a 'Show don't tell' style, I feel like it engages more when you can almost believe you are in their world with them, something I absolutely love to make sure I get right. Though there are some parts that I wish I could show that I'm going to stay away from for now Dagger's Trust issues is one of the points I wanted to touch on later. I'm glad you enjoy the Hive scenes, people who read my other stories (That aren't published) always say that I can create entire worlds. I like giving details to almost everything, and I'm so glad that you enjoy it. It makes me feel accomplished when I can help share that with someone.
On the topic of the swapping narrative, I don't plan to abandon that anytime soon, so you don't have to worry about that. As for the Cover Art... I actually had the idea for Spinnekop's job before I even got to writing it down (I overthink things a lot) So I started looking through random pictures and found that image. I thought it went right along with the story and decided to use it as well
