Gentlereader, the next chapter should be done either tonight or tomorrow. My apologies for making you wait this long. I had hoped to have this released last Saturday, but unfortunately fell ill, and wasn't able to do much of anything over the week. Well, I'm off to get back to writing, looking forward to reading your responses.

Until next time!

Hello, TalonMach5. It’s been a while. Odds are you probably moved on from this site as you haven’t been online in more than a year and the stories stopped. That being said, I want to thank you for the wonderful world you created around the Slave King stories. They, along with a couple of other stories from some other writers in Fimfiction, were the ones that inspired me to create an account here and meet many wonderful people. I always appreciated your story building and the kind way you answered the inquiries of the readers and provided detailed material about the world through answering comments. Although it’s tragic the stories might remain inconclusive, I still want to thank you for publishing them as they made my college years more bearable. In the event that you do return, I hope you can continue your stories or leave a journal for everyone, maybe with theories of how the stories would have turned on. Once again, thanks for the memories and for being such a kind author and may you have a wonderful time surrounded by friends and family.

this is sucks like 60% of stories I'd love to read are dead RIP this place is dead

If your having trouble with appreciation, you could try opening a Patreon to get extra income, as it would be a shame to see you go.

2430167 It's the risk of writing a fanfic epic that spans multiple novel-length volumes. It's done for free, since the author can't profit off the property.

So, if time and/or money run out... story dies.

It's why I tend to stick to short things... and even then I rarely have time to finish them. I have a notebook full of ideas for stories which are clearly never going to see the light of day.
