Sonata Dusk is a whimsical, quirky, girl, who is quite unpredictable. Unpredictable, since she just got a new boyfriend nobody could have predicted. Whimsical in telling a bedtime story to her year younger sister, Mystery Mint. Quirky, because she once tried out a billion different hairstyles, and most of them were weird.

Rainmare, aka Mistress Marevolous, is proctecting Maretropolis one day when four other power ponies show up. Although reluctant, Mistress Marevolous let's them tag along as she goes to defeat another villain.

Fili Flip is the head cheerleader for the Maretropolis track team. One day, she has to let off some energy, so Fili goes for a run. On that day, Fili-Second was born.
