One, the studious unicorn protegee of Princess Celestia, and the other, the notorious party pony of Ponyville, share an afternoon in the library in a solace kept to themselves. Manes are ruffled, coats are soaked, and hearts are bound tightly in the embrace of love and pleasure. With her seemingly endless reservoir of energy and lust, Twilight Sparkle carefully leans down towards Pinkie Pie's ear and speaks to her, in a lush and delicate tone, "What the clopfic is this?!"

It's a few weeks before summer, and Ponyville is at it's calmest. That is, until Big Macintosh and Rainbow Dash announce that they are dating. No big deal though, it's just some mildly shocking news. How will their friends and family react? How will the whole town react? One thing's for certain, nothing bad will come of this at all, in any shape or form. That is guaranteed.

A short fic I wrote today. It's about a pony who's hopelessly in love with Pinkie Pie, and how he deals with the thought of knowing he'll never have her.

The recoil from Family Appreciation Day was too much for Diamond Tiara. Her fellow students turned their back on her, Cheerilee was upset with her, even her own father had been severely disappointed with her actions. She has no one left now. Her perfect world is falling apart. And only one pony can help her. The only pony she could ever count on.

But is she her friend anymore?

Author's Note: I wrote this after watching Family Appreciation Day and noticed the subtle divide between Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara. An idea formed in my head and I had to write this oneshot as soon as I could. Certain questions maybe unanswered or details may be missed. If you spot any of those, I apologize.
