I finally picked a college major. Turns out I truly am best suited for the art field, as much as I wish I was good at something academic. I discovered that my drawing tablet wasn't working last night, so I figured today while my boyfriend's at work I'd work on figuring out what's wrong. Thought it was a software issue so I reinstalled all the drivers, but nope. So then I opened up my tablet and liquid started dripping out of the insides.

Fuck me.

Best part is, I have commissions to do, and my old (but working) tablet is all the way in the US with a friend who probably won't give it back to me anyway.

I had my senior prom on Friday, and I was sitting in a limo with my closest friends, my prom date, and my ex-girlfriend. And at some point I was talking about how me and my prom date knew each other, as he lives far away. I don't think about it often, but I did in fact meet him because of Fimfiction. And then my ex-girlfriend started talking about all of the things we used to get up to on this site.

Well, I’ve gotten myself trapped into a position where I have to learn the entire thing on piano in a month, plus perform it. It’s frustrating because I know that no matter how much I perfect it, it’s going to be awful because I have pretty severe anxiety and can’t perform. Plus, I can’t really play the piano.

But hey, even if I fail that, I’ll probably record me (hopefully) failing slightly less.

On Christmas Eve I got a stomach bug as a present, I spent Christmas night sick from too much drinking, and on New Year’s Eve I get my wisdom teeth out. At some point during this month I became an adult as well, so at least that’s one “holiday” that I didn’t get some sort of misfortune for.

I feel like holidays are either awesome or miserable for people, not much in-between. I hope everyone here is leaning towards the “awesome” side.

Halloween is my favourite holiday by far. I'm still a mental five-year-old; dressing up in costumes is still a massive hobby of mine. I didn't go trick-or-treating (way too old for that), but I got all of my siblings' Almondjoys, handed out candy, and still have a party to go to.

Any fellow Whovians out there? I decided to display my inner geek this year.

I also dressed up as a panda for school, of course, but that wasn't very exciting.

I could update people on all the boring aspects of my life and how I almost died but instead I'll talk about less heavy things.

I speak very bad Chinese (my vocabulary is limited to things I've picked up from my ex and her friends), so I don't usually go to Chinese club, but I did today because they were making dumplings.

So I went and I made dumplings. They were pretty good.
