I could update people on all the boring aspects of my life and how I almost died but instead I'll talk about less heavy things.
I speak very bad Chinese (my vocabulary is limited to things I've picked up from my ex and her friends), so I don't usually go to Chinese club, but I did today because they were making dumplings.
So I went and I made dumplings. They were pretty good.
Me and my friend were washing the dishes for the entire class when suddenly I noticed a commotion a few feet away from me. I turned around and realised there's a big cloud of smoke in my face and blue flames shooting everywhere.
Apparently there was a gas leak and the stove caught on fire. The buttons and knobs melted off from the heat, so nobody could do anything about it.
I tried to finish washing the dishes. I had one plate left to do but it got hard to breathe and we were instructed to run out of the building, so I dropped it and ran for my life. A minute later, there were alarms and an announcement over the loudspeaker to evacuate the building immediately.
I don't think we burned the entire building down, so no harm done?
Chinese club is great.
Chinese culture interests me
Hey, Is everything okay? While Chinses culture is very interesting, I just wonder if you're okay because you said "and how I almost died" So, if you want to talk PM me or we can talk over Discord or something if you want.
I hope you and everyone else is alright

It’s not necessarily something I want to talk about. I appreciate the offer though.

Okay, if you ever need to talk, we can! I hope it gets better for you.
Can’t believe I missed this blog until now. Sounds like life has been thrilling for you. I can relate, as my work place experienced a blackout last night and we literally just chilled until closing time. Life is a beautiful thing, eh?
