This website has sort of become my life?
I had my senior prom on Friday, and I was sitting in a limo with my closest friends, my prom date, and my ex-girlfriend. And at some point I was talking about how me and my prom date knew each other, as he lives far away. I don't think about it often, but I did in fact meet him because of Fimfiction. And then my ex-girlfriend started talking about all of the things we used to get up to on this site.
Not only that, but I realised it's likely going to be the last time I ever spend time with that entire group of people. Why? Well, I've been dead set for years on leaving this country as soon as I become an adult, and that's exactly what I'm doing. I'm going to be on a plane to a far-away country (not naming it for privacy reasons) and staying with a family there. How do I know this family? Well, I know them from this website.
It's been weird. I remember being a 12 year old kid waiting to be 13 so that I could make an account on here and write my own stories. In my first story, I remember I made the main character (it was a human in equestria fic) be in 10th grade because I thought that was so old. I wanted to make sure it wasn't a self-insert (it was).
And now I'm oooooold.
(on a less serious note, I have serious ADHD and I'm at the point in school where there's no such things as due dates. So I've done nothing all semester and am writing multiple essays and reports in the next 24 hours before I have to turn in everything at the end of the school day tomorrow. So please kill me now)
I’m glad things are beginning to look up for you. It’s almost over, be proud. :)
I basically spent all of high school doing nothing, so don't feel alone in that regard. Are you staying with this other family permanently, or is it like a host family exchange student thing?
Ah but you see, you don't have to cut yourself off from them. Continue to talk to them via this site, social media, etc.
Having friends is a wonderful thing and they may end up helping you in the future. Remember Steve Jobs? He would never have gotten where he was without having friends.
So are you going to college or no?
Also, if you want, PM me what country you're going. I'm a bit of a traveler, visiting Australia, almost all of East and Southeast Asia, and South Korea. You have nothing to worry, I gain nothing from leaking your privacy.
In my opinion, you should stay here and get a college degree first before moving to another country.
Sounds like me I only hang out on this site because it’s become an old part of me that I can’t let go of. It just refuses to let me leave and truly go on without clinging to the past.

Yeah, exactly! I’m not into the fandom anymore aside from the artwork part of it, but I grew up here.
I stay here because my friends are here and I don't want to leave them
Wow, sounds like an adventure! I wish fortune for you as you go; take care of yourself!
