Obviously chapter 2 is out a lot sooner than the weekly updates I'd originally estimated. This is due to having extra free time while I was ill. I've gotten quite a bit ahead on my writing, so I decided to go ahead and post this chapter.

I don't believe I'll be having nearly as much free time now that I'm back at work, but I will try to keep updates to a weekly basis at the very least.

So, I guess this is what happens when I have unexpected days off when I don't really feel like doing much other than writing. In any case I wrote the first draft of Midnight Star: The Frozen Empire Chapter 1 in an afternoon.

Well I finished the initial summary for the sequel of Midnight Star and it's over 12000 words. That's nearly three times the summary for Midnight Star. A lot happens and there's a few surprises along the way. I'll probably be releasing this one on a chapter by chapter basis so the first chapter shouldn't be too far out.

So... after my laptop crash, my car decided to break down as well. On the plus side, I have most the week off while it's fixed so tonight I finished the first Illustration for Midnight Star and started a new Deviant Art account to hold such MLP artwork as it is quite a bit different than my normal style.

I've updated my user page with links as well as a gallery. Though the gallery currently consists of the one illustration and my avatar.

Had a problem with my laptop and to make a long story short; I lost everything I had done so far for the sequel to Midnight Star. This included character profiles for new characters to be introduced as well as the story overview and what I had written so far on the chapter by chapter summary (About 5 chapters).

I'm going to be rewriting it all over the next few days while it's still relatively fresh in my mind, but needless to say; it's an irritating setback.

Stayed up late and finally found time to finish my Avatar. Now to get started on some illustrations for Midnight Star while I write the summary of the sequel.

So, I'm rather new to the Brony community. Well that isn't true; I've been a fan for a couple years, but this is the first I've actually created anything and submitted it to the community.

I'm a 3d artist by trade, but also do a great deal of 2d art, both traditional pencil drawing and digital painting. And my hobby is of coarse writing.
