In the Season 5 finale we got to see many futures where the villains rule Equestria. Nightmare Moon, Sombra, Chrysalis, Flim and Flam (!?) but you know who didn't appeared in the slightest? Yeah, Sunshit Shitter.
So there are two reason of it:
1) Sunset plan still failed even without Twilight presence and thus proving the Sunset fanboys that her plan was doomed to fail from the get go;
