Just a bit of a post story blog post to talk about what I'm doing, now that I no longer have the obligation to complete my longest story. (It's a good feeling, by the way.)

First off, I'd like to thank everybody once again for reading the King and I, your comments and reactions really made it a joy to write. I feel proud having pushed myself to write something so long, and it's my first real ambitious attempt at a larger story.

My computer recently decided that it didn't like working, the eventual solution forcing me to reinstall windows and by extension all of my stuff, including word and other programs that I use regularly. Thankfully I have not lost any files so it wasn't a huge deal for me. The real big deal was that it took me a few days to reach that conclusion.

I'll be on holiday from the 3rd up to the 14th, so that means no updates between that time and maybe for a short while afterwards. Sorry!

I'm working on a new chapter right now, so I'll push it out before I go away to keep your guys engaged. It's a (hopefully) big one too, so look out.

Adjustment is now on Hiauts.

Why? I'm not happy with it, at all. I have a lot more experience under my belt now, but adjustment continues to be bleh for me. The rubbish pacing is by far my biggest problem, a problem caused by my initial lack of ambition when it came to writing it. I know a lot of you might not be happy about it, but I feel like I should deliver a story that isn't just popular because of it's niche appeal, but because it has a strong story and good writing.
