It was written during an impromptu Writer's Workshop meeting with Solo himself. Having just read both stories recently, the concepts were fresh in mind, so this ended up happening.

Just a short little one-shot I wrote up in a weekly writer's workshop led by solocitizen.

It's set in an AU I came up with for Graphic Design class in High School. I never really named it, but it had a working title of 'Equestria Force' that I use to tag it in my files. It was written in the space of 1 1/2 hours, and since Solo refused to give me a straight answer about his opinion, I'm going to throw it at the internet and see what happens!

After a seemingly normal day in Ponyville, Blue Lightning is forced into an unlikely alliance that may shape the fate of Equestria forever! Or they might die... who knows for sure!

This story is the evolving chronicle of my friend's adventures through the tabletop Courage is Magic 2.0.
The story is set after Season 3, but before Season 4 in the MLP timeline, though it is AU. (VERY AU)

It's an unorthodox setup, sure, but it's fun for us to play. Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments if you guys get confused, because I am going to be RPing the chapters, and Blue isn't likely to understand all the magicky stuff. Oh, and this is a different Blue than the one from any other story. He's AU out of his own universe and shall be tagged as !CiMBlue when compared to canon Blue. And no, there is no Red. He flat doesn't exist here.

A fanfic mostly inspired by the lyrics in Full Moon (Leaving Home) by Przewalski's Ponies. It contains no small amount of headcanonical speculation.
It also ties in with the Courage is Magic campaign my friends and I are running, not that any of you would know that.

This is all but nonfiction in how this story goes. Replace Blue and I, Merc and my dad, and this is nearly true. I adapted the story a little to account for some differences between myself and Blue, but otherwise it's word-for-word how it's been for me these past two months. At the time of posting, he isn't gone yet, and I intend to show this story to him. This is straight from my heart, guys.

That day was like any other... a nice enough day, all told. I made my patients feel better, my bills were paid, and I wasn't going hungry. Being a counselor in a happy town like Ponyville isn't an easy job, and my life is rough. At the end of the day, though, I make ponies happy, and that's what matters. I'd lived a peaceful life there for the past three years, and it was a content one. I'd have been happy there. But that day... that day, one that should have been like any other, everything went upside-down. My name is Bright Dawn, and this is my story.

I'll add character tags relevant to a chapter a week after they air, as to avoid the spoiling of the thingstuffsomethingorother. Also my first story with a female protagonist. We'll see how this goes.
