A dream. It's just a dream. Lavender Ponyville is just a dream about a town almost exactly like Ponyville being covered in a weird purple-hued aura, isn't it? A weird purple-hued aura, along with a mysterious tower in the middle. That's it. Just that. Isn't it?

This is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in written form. As a parody. I took the original source material, and put it in the form of prose, however, I change the source material so much, it's now a parody. And by parody, I mean a complete mess that I am still struggling to comprehend.

A demon inhabits the Ruined Castle of the North, and it has recently kidnapped everybody's favourite pegasus, Rainbow Dash. Flyers are put up asking for warriors and fighters to go rescue her. Everyone is surprised when Fluttershy applies for the job instead.

Applejack suffers constantly from the same nightmares of being chased by the same monsters, with the occasional differing nightmare where she is instead drowned by a mysterious masked white pony. She goes to Twilight for help, but instead, an unexpected pony decides to tackle the problem of helping her.
