my thinking is that a metal based dragon would be weak against electricity, this combined with Twilight being crazy powerful (and the fact she's defending her friends in a life and death situation) means they would be able to temporarily restrain him. They have a limited amount of time to decide what to do from here.

Well, I would think that electricity would be grounded by him. While it would take longer, I would think he'd be weak to fire. You heat him up too much and his scales would start to melt.

Can we clear up what type of dragon your using? Are you simply using the image of an Iron Dragon from Fairy Tail, or are you basing it off them? If a dragon from fairy tail could be taken down by a human and a unicorn, there'd be no need for Dragon Slayer magic. You could just sneeze at them and they'd fall over.
If you simply like the shape and use it for visualzation purposes, then I guess I can't complain.

yes, it is an iron dragon from fairy tail, but it was the combined attacks and Tallic's failure to pay them enough mind that got him into trouble.
Plus, Twilight is Princess Celestia's prized student for a reason. She did levitate an ursa minor while casting other spells after all.
The spell I imagine she would use in this case would block the neural signals rather than restraining the muscles, though I think I will add in a bit more of how much of a strain it was on her.

Ok, I just finished reading this, Jumper and mage's jump simultaneously. are there any more stories in techogre's universe? besides, The time difference between all stories is weird, in Jumper Alex is distrustfull and angry Matt, and in next two they are allready friends, is is confusing when you read them at the same time.
Also the fact that almos everyone can tell that Emerald is something else (with tallic noticing that he hates bug-based insults) but not ponies. If they told anypony, they would right away realise that he is a changeling (I really like changelings, so I hope it will be revealed soon)

My story takes place a little less than a year after where the main story is at now, but that's just my headcanon.

Basically, the jumpers have better senses than ponies (Alex and Matt's senses are twice as good as a pony, Trace is about triple, no idea how much better Tallic's are) and they can basically see what could be considered "animation errors," they see some things that normal ponies might miss, so while Emerald's disguise is effective at fooling ponies, it doesn't work so well with humans and dragons not native to this world. Trace was able to pick up on it since he can pick up on things through contact (hard to explain at the moment), Tallic, being a dragon, has an acute sense of smell, so he picked up on what was basically pheromones coming off him, weak enough that ponies wouldn't notice it consciously, but to creatures with a stronger sense of smell it's a dead giveaway that he isn't normal.

Another good chapter. The part with the Paladin of Happiness was particularly entertaining. The questionable ethics of mind manipulation stuff was also interesting.
Haha. That reminds me of a evil artifact one of my D&D characters found. It was the Eye of the Beholder or something. Every time certain words where said, the eye would detach from the necklace and fire random eye stalk rays in random directions around the wearer. I am fairly sure one of the words was 'you' and anyone could trigger it, not just the one wearing it. I fully intended to abuse the hell of it, but the cleric took it away before I lost my character to it.

id really like to see more of steelskin but beyond the obvious i feel that maybe you have an opprotunity here to take the jumper mold and break it maybe instead of steel just accepting that he has become a jumper he activly seeks jumps and the power to controll jumping all in an effort towards finding(and bringing back) tallic.
