I don't like how some random six ponies became the new elements. The new elements should have been Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Spike, Pipsqueak, and Dinky. (Or the cake twins instead of Pipsqueak and Dinky) Would have been more poetic.
Le damn.

EDIT: Just in case that thumbs-up on my comment came from someone thinking I was promoting Spike hate, I want to be clear that my intention was to point out what an ugly and disgusting omission it was. Fluttershy does not have five friends, she has six. And no eulogy? No thank-you.

Did not mean to imply Fluttershy didn't care. I like Spike, and Fluttershy did care, but this story was kind of centred on the Elements.

It was a great read, and very well written. A very good tragedy story.
You should make a sequel, because these main six weren't actually the first set of bearers of the elements. Just my thoughts.
A sequel about what? I thought the only other Element bearers were the princesses.
2412029 before them were some other ponies from Canterlot, Celestia had taken the element of magic but the other elements weren't her.

I hope you know this was a heck of a long time ago and only the second story I ever wrote. It wasn't even based on the Twilight immortality thing because it was written way before Twilicorn... also in answer to your first point, yes, I know.
