Not bad. This story has potential.

this sound epic listening to batch as i am doing now , but that is besides the point , the premise of a pony pony born to kill is promising but it can fail miserably if you don't built uo his past as we see the many step of training. well see where you land this story on.
Also i'd say i love the training Sargent you wrote there.

don't worry, background on Static Sparks and others will happen soon . eventually. and yes, I have the most fun writing the Major.

clap clap i see amazing shit in the future of this story, so please tell us more about Sparks past his up and downs, his disappointments, everything that's what can make this story a golden chest of feels and epic.
wtf i am blaffing lol i don't know.

Please develop the characters past if you can, please do it.

thank you for the favorite, and more is coming...

did you read all 50k words in one go?:twilightoops:
If so then color me impressed.
And yes, theoretically an update on saturday, if my editor is on the ball.

Took about 2.5 days. I got hooked and couldn't stop. It's a problem I refuse to fix.

What the say

"The Germans took a hunting rifle to war, the Americans a target rifle, the British a war rifle"

Yes being British I'm sliglhtly biased but it was the best rifle of both World Wars

3365123 Being American I'd say that the Garand had you beat in the Second.
In the Great War though, there was none comparable. I suppose that's why I gave my ponies the 'Smelly.'

3365919 Still had two more rounds and the Gerand let the enermy know when you where out of rounds

3368698 garand was semi-auto, and a soldier with some wit could use the ping to his advantage.

But this argument is pointless, both are fantastic rifles, and given the choice I'd take the
Lee Enfield every day of the week, even if I think the Garand is technically a better gun.

We'll call it a draw. Deal?

3369302 Yep. best scene of the movie. shows that Rogers is made of something more than everyone else. That's why I copied it
imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.

Pure greatness :pinkiehappy: The pounders saved the day three cheers of them then home for tea, biscuits and medals :rainbowlaugh:

3373413 I'm "Pure greatness?":rainbowderp: Or even anything that I have done is "pure greatness? If you're going to say that then...

thank you, thank you very much. You're a wonderful audience.I Couldn't do it without you. Give yourself a pat on the back. You're the best!

And yes, the artillery corp-ponies did indeed celebrate with a hearty amount of tea and biscuits:twilightsmile:

3373565 when the air ships came was saying where's that arty! i think the next story or so you should branch of a bit to the arty and the air corp with the war room and see the war from there prospective.
I got a tank that will fit in this very well as a prototype

Sadly artillery is a bit boring, a guy calls on the radio, you shoot, he tells you to stop.
the air corps on the other hand... they'll have their day.

oh hell, I didn't see the bit about the tank!
While I definitely do love the imperial guard and their tanks (got a baneblade in my room), I have already had all equipment used by all military's in this story decided for around a half-year now. Sadly the Macharius Vanquisher doesn't culturally mesh with anyone taking part in the war, but I am always open to suggestions

3374221not all ways there is conter arty, snipers and air bombing about , might have got stuck in the battle itself when It was too so slow in the retreat and there is the crew the think about a well add all in to the mix and you get one or two chapter in there

As I said, I already have all equipment used by all armies pretty much decided, but I do appreciate your suggestions.
by the way, with the whippet, you're getting warmer...

250 pounder artillery thats large

Ah the Ordinace QF 25 Pdr the only gun in excistance to have a reputation as being belt-fed

Thank you for putting this up with the arty now I got something that will help you with the next battle plan http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tyQpXH_p1Sk&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DtyQpXH_p1Sk

I looks like clockwork I a very good Field Marshall but remember that all battle plans do not survive 1st contact with the enemy Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

The gun comparison brought a smile to my face. Time to read the next chapters.

She had never known a more energetic pony than Banana Nut. Secretly she doubted that one existed.

Amber, I'd like to introduce you to Pinkie Pie. Her energy levels allow her to break physics on a whim for the sake of humor, mostly for a crowd that only she can observe.

Excellent work. I just read the whole fic thus far in about 3-4 hours (by my estimates). Thanks for the submitting to Equestria at War. This is a great contribution. Keep up the good work, and may R. Lee Ermey bless these ponies' bullets.

Good day Its bin a bit what's up?

The gewerh 98 was the best rifle in the first World War the smle (small mag lee enfield) was second. The American rifle was a copy of the gewerh so basically same rifle different name.

3697412
you know, somehow I expected you to say that. I can't imagine why...

Uh oh, things are about to get serious when you have to step up the tag to Mature. I approve... :rainbowdetermined2:

3849072 it's just that the unicorns got there asses handed to them on a silver platter.

What an ending line. Now I really feel the "All Quiet on thr Western Front." Great job far.
