Events of the first story are explained within this story: this is an open sequel.
Princess Cadence and Shining Armor have been wedded, and the Changeling menace has been repulsed. Life it seemed was returning to normal. As the weeks pass, however, the royal family is rocked by an unexpected death, and in the face of this and a renewed Changeling scare, Equestria is tossed into a state of upheaval, all while Discord's stony prison begins to weaken. Events that have been nearly fourteen hundred years in the making are now unfolding in concert, all under the guidance of some mysterious Conductor who has been influencing countless individuals, from Princesses Celestia and Luna, their mother the Maiden, to Adam the Human. How will the Elements of Harmony, the Princesses, and all the other beings involved struggle to prevent the outbreak of an Equestrian civil war and the threat of a released Discord?

Well, this concludes my spring break, so now we begin the regular schedule of updating; one or two chapters every Saturday. So far it seems that most of you are new to me, and you may be unfamiliar with my first story, so if you have a questions about it, ask away, or feel free to read it; despite it looking very long, it's only around 63,000 words. These were decidedly some very dark chapters to write. I wanted to give Bunsen Burner a bit of an upgrade in both character development and sense of just how dangerous of a stallion he can be when he wants to be. It was rather difficult writing for him. Next week, we'll find out just who is fated for the 'unexpected death' mentioned in the story description. I'd just like to point out now, things are going to become a bit sad, but everything will turn out alright in the end.
This part of the story I wanted to make sure I took a lot of care in writing. The characters deserved respect for what has happened to them, and I wanted to convey that as much as possible. Next week, we will begin begin to see what Princess Celestia's fate is to be for the majority of this work.
I uploaded a day earlier than usual because I will not be available in the morning tomorrow to do it then. Working morning shifts are crap! Anyway, enjoy! Also, for those who haven't heard, I will be taking about three weeks off after next week's upload to get adjusted to juggling summer school, working, and advancing the progress of our story, which does sorely need to be worked upon. It's going to be bigger than usual; a three chapter session which will wrap up the introductory arc into this story, and then we will all plunge a little deeper into this story of mine!

Apart from his cameo in chapter 14, I don't expect Discord to appear again until near the end of this story. When he does though, things could get dangerous.
Alright, three chapter upload is complete! I'm afraid now begins the period of three weeks where I take a break from uploading. While 6 hours of college classes and 34 hours a week at work give me plenty of knowledge and money, it leaves little time to write at the moment. It will be a while before I'm back, but I will be back. You can count on that.
Alright! The hiatus is over, and the second of the major four arcs in Revival of Chaos begins! This is the part of the story where I would like to focus more on the human elements and characters in this story, so Adam, Lyra, Celestia, and Luna will begin to get more focus here (At least that's would I'd like to plan for.) Yes, the Changelings will end up being responsible, and while there is a plan, it is not to attack the Elements par-say; that's something Chrysalis is doing because she is a rather vindictive sort of being.

I want to give you some feedback you can use, so...
This is a story I start reading again every once in a while when I realize how many favourites I haven't red yet.
Every time I get around to reading it, I find it entertaining and well-written.
For example, your paragraph:
Whenever I watch "Canterlot Wedding" and I get to that scene, something stirs in me. I think it's because they perfectly captured the joy of the occasion perfectly. And you, in turn have captured the scene perfectly. I felt the same stir reading that paragraph as I do watching the episode.
I wish I could explain it to you better, but there's something about this story that's "insufficiently compelling": I get to the end of the chapter, I'm not always able to continue to the next chapter. Simple as that.

I know if I flubbed this chapter everything afterwards would be ruined, so I made sure that it rang with all the right emotions at the right time. I actually partially based this experience on the last few years of my maternal grandmother's life, and how my mother constantly reassured me that she had been a vibrant and wonderful person, instead of the pained and saddened old woman I had always seen.

I would've probably disagreed on this before a couple weeks ago, since whenever I think of Ford I automatically think of Han Solo, but his portrayal of Colonel Graff in Ender's Game was pretty good! For me personally, Bunsen Burner in my head sounds like Clancy Brown, the voice of Lex Luthor in the Superman Animated series.
