An Elemental Shift

Twilight Sparkle knew becoming an Alicorn would mean giving up many things, but giving up her connection to the Element of Magic was something she did not anticipate. Because of this, her friends must also give up their connections to their respective Elements as well, and it's only a matter of time until the Elements choose new ponies to lead the fight against the new evil that threatens all of Equestria.

Considering the last line of the current chapter, the character tags may not be accurate enough to give us the bearers outside Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Certainly makes me wonder whether or not you will have some of the other named fillies in the show just waltz into being the other Elements. Sure you have Dinky as one of the character tags, but that doesn't mean she's one of the new Elements like the CMC most likely will be. Here's my current list for who's going to be what Element, based on canon personalities:

Apple Bloom: Generosity

Sweetie Belle: Magic, Honesty, Loyalty, Kindness or Laughter

Scootaloo: Honesty
