When Pinkie Pie wakes up one night, she has trouble laughing. She remembers how Granny Pie taught her how to laugh, long ago when she still lived on a rock farm.
I wrote this because the Pinkamena story from "The Cutie Mark Chronicles" didn't match up with "Giggle at the Ghostly." If the writing style seems disjointed (at least, I think it does), it's because I was trying to evoke Pinkamena.

Yup. :rainbowdetermined2:

I would like to say it doesn't seem that improbable she had a grandmother who taught her to be happy and laugh, however. My own grandparents live in different countries from me, and I see them rarely. Her cutie-mark story showed a small part of her life, and I doubt even parents as austere as Pinkie Pie's appeared to be wouldn't let her meet her other relatives sometimes, on visits and the like. Even so, this was quite hearttouching. Thank you for this writing.

HOW DID YOU PUBLISH IT? THERE ARE LESS THAN 1,000 WORDS! :derpyderp2::rainbowhuh:
