Eve is a thirteen-year-old girl from the Land of Xanth, where magic and puns thrive and every human has a unique magic talent ranging from spot-on-the-wall variety to a Magician-level power. Her talent is teleportation; she can teleport wherever she wants, bring stuff along if she's touching it, and although she may not like it, sneezes can send her anywhere. When she unknowingly drinks from a pool that temporarily enhances her talent, her friend Maya's peppery prank sends the two of them - plus Eve's brother, Ben - to a new world entirely: one inhabited by strange equine creatures they are unfamiliar with. Now the three of them are lost, confused, and just want to find a way back home.
Oh, and Ben's talent may pose a bit of a problem...

I clicked immediately after seeing "Xanth". When the first word in the description is "Eve", I immediately think of the Magician whose talent is knowing everything about an inanimate object after touching it. At first glance, I'm a bit miffed it isn't her. I'll give it a read though.
EDIT: Sorry about judging it before I started. Anyways, I like the premise. It's something that could legitimately happen to a Xanthian under the circumstances. Favorited, and I look forward to seeing what you do with the story.

All I saw was the Human tag when it was first submitted. Furthermore, when using characters from another franchise, the Other tag is used. IIRC you're using characters from the Xanth universe unless they're original Xanth characters.

Did a search today on XANTH, and this story was the only Xanth × FiM crossover that popped up. I thought that was really surprising considering how many parallels there are between the two franchises. If somebody told me that Lauren Faust was a Xanth fan, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least. But I guess it’s a generational thing. Most FiM fans are too young to know what a Xanth even is?
