1992023 I think it was a nice touch not every fic like this needs to be open ended.
1992023 I liked it. It showed that Celestia is not the beast as she is sometimes portayed, by indicating that she was not indeed trying to toy with Discord, or that she feels sorry for past mistakes. It added to the sad tone of the story.

This wasn't a story, or even a letter really. It's just a rant against Celestia.
Cosmetically speaking, this would be much easier to read if you put spaces between the paragraphs.

He wasn't very "Neutral and Misunderstood" when he took over Equestria back then and became a tyrant.Heck,even when he came back he seemed to revel in Twilight's misery when her friends left her and he forced himself to corrupt Fluttershy when he couldn't mindfuck her,you know,the very one he just decided to befriend.
One could say this is just Discord's side of the whole thing.

1992023 The last paragraph was, as wYvern said, an effort to show that Celestia does feel bad for her past mistakes. Whether or not its necessary is up for debate. I added it because I wanted to show Celestia's reaction to the letter.
That was a nice little story a bit sad but then there's not much else it could have been...

If I was Princess Celestia, and I got this letter, I would think, "Wow, I feel like a complete and total jerk right now." Discord couldn't have just said that to make her feel bad, she was there, and I bet in some corner of her mind she remembers that happening.
I never believed Discord to be evil. But if there were ever a better time to sympathize more with him, this is it.
