Wandering Quill

T

'A wise man once told me that 'Proper story's supposed to start at the beginning'.

We all know how this story starts. We all know how a thousand years ago, the Princess of the Moon betrayed her sister, the Princess of the Sun, and how a thousand years ago, Equestria lost one of its leaders.

What we never knew was that, a thousand years ago, two follies were created: a truce... and a promise.

And now, both of those have been violated.

We are about to pay the price.'

I must read later!

This looks familiar...

Off to a good start. Not a lot of good humanized stories.

I wonder what happened to Spike when Twilight fell off the ship.

1928899 what do you mean?

War? Generally the best option for upholding the peace? An immortal leader would have to be very stupid to hold on to such a belief for long.

2086628 That may be so, but you still have to consider that other kingdoms might not share the same opinion or immortal leaders. Jealousy, a craving for power, can just as well bring upon war, whether it be caused by one side or the other. This is in-universe information which I plan on implementing in the story, but making sure Luna saw that side of her sister was important (regardless of its context).

Likewise, you can consider that this happened early in Celestia's reign (and that she fixed her ways afterwards). Immortality would have done her no good there.

I really liked the story, hope this goes good for you.

Y'know, I don't get at all what the heck happened at the end of this chapter
