Ooookay... That's disappointing.

This story really should be marked 'canceled' with the description pointing to the, um, barely begun rewrite. That looks like it might be on hiatus.

So yes-- for future readers this story is not complete.

Good idea. I only marked it as complete because I actually thought this would make a tolerable ending (although abrupt) ending to the story, but cancelled works better perhaps.

6919582 Capacitive touchscreens that are used in every touchscreen phone nowadays use basically anything that's conductive, and uses the charge that people build up to detect a touch to the screen. It has nothing to do with oils. (Although if they are conductive, it should still detect them touching it)
