It isn't commonly known, but the original MLP Movie had a scene planned, but never animated, showing Firefly trying to recruit Shipwreck before running into Megan. And as we know, G.I.Joe shares continuities with G1 Transformers more often than not. As such, I am quite fine with Transformers x MLP stories. ...and G.I.Joe x MLP stories. ...and Jem x MLP stories. ...and Inhumanoids x MLP stories. ...and Dungeons and Dragons x MLP sto- you know what? Lets just say I'm fine with anything under the Hasbro banner showing up in Equestria.

Also, I see you are going for the "Strong Silent Type" Soundwave from Prime. Since this is a mix-n-match Transformers setting, I'm surprised you went with the mute version, given the difficulty that would place in a non-visual medium. Here's hoping you can pull it off.
