Sure, he has it tough being the only human in a world full of magic and ponies. But really he has it million times better then most displaced refugees. He has a job, a roof over his head and ponies that would possibly care for his well being if he stop being such a jerk face for two seconds. Except Mal's an idiot, a bigot and feels the need to assert himself as the top dog in place he doesn't even want to be in.
Mal may be a gristle, two-fisted, red blooded, all American bad ass, but really he's an a sad sack because he can't relax and instead just go with the flow.
And worst of all, Equestria is stuck with him.
TLDR: If To err is to be human and Murphy's Law had a kid it would be Mal Coltran.
I'm starting to fell bad for Mal. He clearly doesn't deserve to be subject to this.

Don't. You might to be sorely disappointed if you do. Mal Coltran is the Salvatore Rivieri and Lieutenant John Pike of Equestria.

1922367 Its kinda hard not to. the way you describe him just makes him sound old and sad.
Poor ponies, they don't stand a chance against him...
I take back what I said... Mal kicks ass and doesn't have time to take names... I shall keep reading and hope that he continues kicking ass as usual.
