In this alternate universe of planet Earth, a totalitarian government called the Republic of Chance has taken over the northern american continent and wages war against the world while everyone who lives under it suffers day to day. He is a schizophrenic man named Jacob and using his skills and prowess and love of fire he sets out as a terrorist known as The Firestarter in hopes of getting the people to rise up and destroy the corrupt government they have come to fear. He swears never to give up until his world is saved and he has finally had his revenge but then all of his plans are torn askew when the Element of Kindness, the pony Fluttershy appears in his home hiding from the cruel world outside and desperate to get home. After Jacob realizes that he cant just abandon her and that he might be able to escape this world with her he makes an unbreakable promise to get her home. But he cant give up on his world either. Will he succeed or will he end up destroying himself and both worlds together? With the help of the Seven Voices that guide him from within his own mind and the kind and healing Fluttershy at his side, The Firestarter is about to take on the biggest challenge faced by anyone, ever.
