In a massive, unscheduled storm the Wonderbolts disappear and soon similar storms are raging throughout Equestria. With the weather teams powerless to stop the rain Twilight and friends set out for the mountain where this all began desperate to find a cause and to stop it before the whole of Equestria is destroyed.
If only it could be that simple.
