Aslo I think she would have died anyway because even if Rainbow Dash had caught her who knows what kind of abuse she enudred at the hooves of The Princesses, besides as The Joker once said "Remember! It's not THE FALL, it's THE SUDDEN STOP!' which means that when you fall you die from the force that caused you to stop not the actual height so unless someone catches you high up the force would still be enough to kill you.
R.I.P Twilight, I hope Rainbow Dash and your other friends can pull through and avenge your death!
