This tale is of how Octavia has come to discover the melodious sound of the cello. And a very traumatic event is what started it.

I know how you feel man, My stories don't really get many view either aside from Lonely Wanderer... It sucks when you write something that you're so proud of and then people don't thumbs up, but hey bro; this story is great and you should feel proud of yourself. Sometimes you just don't make it to the featured box... Most of my stories get like 100 views or so and then nobody ever reads them again...

well i must say, for a girl who wouldn't read fim fiction, this is a well written story. Though you did miss some capitalization and a few grammar errors, but hey, nobody's perfect. Besides, i copied and pasted it into Word anyways.
Octavia is my favourite pony of all time, and this story certainly did her justice.
While I say that, there are areas you could improve on (such as her recovery from her parents death. It seemed like she recovered too fast, and not enough depth was given to it) but it was an excellent story anyway.
