Nylar and Antlerius actually seem competent and smart to target Twilight's friends first so they don't use their rainbow power. And from what Spike said, not invincible if Chrysalis and Tirek held their own. Great start.

Cute, but I feel like their friendship is a little rushed. Second chapter and they're already best buds? Doesn't make sense in the context of Cozy being a former enemy.

They're not best buds at this point in the story. Friendly towards each other, sure. But days have passed throughout this chapter (which was mentioned,) and that's plenty of time for the two to become friendly and well-aquainted.
