I might have missed this the first time I read it, but did Shining do Twilight too? Was he asleep beside her?

It doesn't explicitly say. There's a lot of room for imagination in the aftermath but Twilight definitely made Velvet and Shining do it and then Pinkie and AJ's exchange is meant to imply Twilight ran a train on her dad with her friends. Shining is dumb as usual. Cadance was probably there more or less voluntarily. (Probably not the same Cadance from The New Normal.)

Considering she's the only one not mentioned in here, I'm choosing to believe that Flurry is in a separate bedroom, protecting Fluttershy's innocence from the depravity going on in the other room. Distracting her with stuffed animals, perhaps.
And now I'm just imagining Flurry, fully aware in her baby-mind that there will be dire consequences if Fluts gets involved, actively working to distract the drunken animal caretaker by making her play veterinarian to a zoo of plushies.
