Not sure Yona can fully empathize , she's an ungulate so she has a "season" not a period, which face it, that's what this is. Yona just doesn't have this issue, so wile she gets it better than the boys(at best we can understand female *ahem* reproductive issues from a technical stance). Now Silverstream, now she has another perspective as I am sure that the experience is different as sea pony then as a hippogriff. Did she have her first time as a seapony then kind of freak when as a Hippogriff it was so different?

Silverstream could be anything. On her Hippogriff side, she could birth live young like a horse, or just egg like any bird.
On her Hippocamp side, whooboy, she could egg, birth, or oviviparous, which differs from oviparous, like stingrays lay eggs, but they don't lay, the eggs hatch inside and are fed the yolk and everything as if they'd still be in the egg, and THEN they're birth live.
I'm leaning more egg for flight form, and clutch for sea form. Or live birth for sea firm.
It's a tough call.
