Paperback had always seen games, whether on a screen or a table, as a way for him to escape reality for an hour or two. He would spend all weekend hanging out with his friends and playing D&D, and made gaming the center and highlight which his life revolved around. So when the group goes on hiatus a friend suggests he get the newest MMO, complete with a Virtual Reality system. It seems like a brilliant idea to satisfy his need to escape at first, but sometimes making a game too real might mean that the players never want to leave...
A spin-off of the story Equestrian Earth, although I try my best to make this story standalone. Content rating set as Teen for depictions of fantasy violence and other possible themes as they may be added.

1365180 My story for this universe (which hasn't been uploaded yet; I'm not even halfway done the first chapter) doesn't have a solid story line. It's literally just a collection of stories focused around my OC, Nitro Rush, who's already been included in the main story line of the universe in Chapter 3.
Now, onto this story. Very good, very good indeed. I noticed a few grammatical errors, not much, but they were there. Otherwise, it's great. Each character seems well thought out. Can't wait for more.

Went back and brushed up a couple of mistakes that I found, most prevalent of which was that I had accidentally left underscores where a pony's name should have been (I hadn't thought of it by the time I was completing the chapter) and No one told me about it.
Also fixed is that now Paperback's thoughts and emphasized words in conversations are now italicized. I forgot that since Fimfiction runs on BBcode it doesn't automatically transfer them over from when I copy it from the file I have it on.
