This story takes place right before "Bridle Gossip"
Early one morning, Equestria wakes up to hundreds of ponies turning into cows, including the princesses themselves. Despite their bovine state, Princess Celestia and Luna, along with Princess Cadance, Shining Armor Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight, try to keep the peace and learn to deal with their new lives while researching any possible cure. Meanwhile, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy go on an adventure looking for a mysterious zebra named Zecora, who may hold the key to turning them back into ponies.

Okay. Cadance and Shining Armor make sense, as does Twilight. But why Rainbow and Pinkie? Even by Pinkie's standards, it doesn't make sense.

Just seeing the title of this fic reminded me of that cow level in Diablo

Hmm, a bit repetitive so far, but at least it's moved on from solely mooing and milking to eating grass and burping. I suppose the issues of cows having to chew their cud, and being highly flatulent and producing lots of cowpies will come later?
I admit I half expected them drinking their own milk to have further negative consequences.
I hope we see more of this story in the future.

Great to see that work is continuing on this story. I am really enjoying it and looking forward to future chapters.
Can't wait to see if the root cause of this turns out to be some colossal mistake or if there is indeed some mastermind behind it.
Though I have to admit with the title was expecting this to be slightly darker, like them losing horns or wings or memories as time passes to put a ticking clock on things, or perhaps needing to solve things before heat season or something where none of them want to have calves especially the former stallions.
Another great chapter, and I have to say Flim and Flam actually making something that works and isn't a scam is definitely a sign of the apocalypse in my book.
